All kinds of hairy hunks doing all kinds of sexy things is what Bears BFs is about; but it is also about several other sexy things. The content comes from real people, and you are told that as well as finding self-submit content, you can also submit your own. You've got the kind of content here that you might find on a Tube style site, or in a hook-up site, and the tour actually tells us that the content is stolen from such sites.
Cutting straight to the chase, there were 67 video clips and 16 photo sets when I was in the members area just now. The videos come as streams and downloads, and there were around 30 pics in each gallery. The other nine categories or sites as they are called, contain more self-submit, homemade content on the themes of Asians, college guys, boys at the beach, hung guys, twinks and studs.
You find your bear content by clicking the sample image of the horny bear at the top of the first page you come to. Scroll down to see how the page has changed and you find numbered index pages. Galleries are shown with the word photos and video clips are shown by their runtime. These are not long, around four minutes was an average, and you have to expect not very good quality at times. That's fine though, as this is the kind of quality you get from folk who have recorded themselves jerking off, playing with dildos, posing, or fucking their BFs at home; clips taken on small cameras and mobile phones.
But you do get good choices when it comes to viewing and the clips here should work on all PCs and Macs. You can stream in three kinds of file types, and you can download versions in 3GP, Flash, Mp4, Mpeg and WMV, with resolutions ranging from 352 x 288 up to 3000k. The WMV streams I found ran at 2.99Mbps @ 320 x 240, and survived pretty well at full screen.
Gallery images open up to a medium size, and the quality here was usually pretty good too. It depends on what has been sent in I guess. There were mainly solo shots here, hairy guys in their bathrooms, on their beds, and not all of these guys were your typical bears; hair was the running theme though Id call some of these guys hunks or even hairy jocks. There were a good number of older, heavier, rounder and hairier bears in there too though.
As for the user submitted part of it all: there is a link that you sometimes see on the bottom of pages to submit, and you click it for a new window to open. But there was never anything in this window so I have no idea how you or anyone else is supposed to send in your own content. Which in turn leads me to wonder where they got their content from. They say it's taken from other sites (when not being self-submitted by members) so you may well find pictures and video here that you've seen on social networking sites and tube sites. As to whether this is naughty or not, well, it's up to you. But what it does mean is that you have a decent stock of pics, some video clips and the chance to see real guys in their own sexy moments. And, we are told, updates are happening daily, but I am not sure if that is to the site or the network.
Bear BFs is an easy site to navigate. You will find a kind of colourful looking top menu with large text leading you to Adult DVDs, a collection of college boy themed hardcore and solo clips from I don't know where but not exclusive. There is a link to a live show and cam site where you will need to sign up to fully enjoy; there is a link to bonus sites to, but this is simply the collection of sites you can already access. And those sites are more like categories within this one big amateur, homemade porn network. The new sites open in the same page and look exactly the same as where you were, so they are categories more than sites. And there is a link further down the pages to looking for pics? which takes you to what looks like the full image collection from the network.
But these links work and the pages open quickly, though they do all rather look the same. Within galleries and video viewing pages you can rate the content and add it to your favourites area. In theory. Nothing happened when I tried this and I couldn't find a favourites area listed anywhere. I couldn't get the submit link to do anything either and when I clicked Delete My Picture I was returned to the same page. So someone needs to do some technical work there.
But galleries were easy to navigate through with standard buttons, and a slideshow option, and I didn't have any trouble running the movies.
Bear BFs sits is one of the categories inside the Boyfriend Pass Network of sites, and these come with content from other companies, studio shot movies and genuine amateur content. You get value for money here as there is a lot of stuff in the network as a whole, but I am not sure when this area gets updated; there was very little information in the site. It won't take you long to get through it all and unless you're up for twinks and college boys too, you may soon run out of things to view.
