It's been a while since we last reviewed Butch Dixon, a muscle-man, bear, hairy-guy solo and hardcore site with all exclusive content. I'm happy to report that the site has nearly doubled in size since then, has been consistent with its weekly updating and had continued to feed us the same kind of excellent porn we saw before. It's all about muscled and hairy guys in jerk-off solos and hardcore scenes with condoms and without, good pics, good download/stream options and high-class porn.
The guys you're going to find here are fit, studly, in their 20s to 40s, well-built, hairy, bears, daddies, jocks and a mix of professional models and amateurs. You can also arrange them by date, and the earliest ones are from 2008. This means their viewing options may not be HD like the modern ones, but still, the quality of filming and presentation is good throughout the site.
The action is as varied as the guys but always with that 'real man' butch-guy edge. You can find the solos, and also the heavy-duty duos with anal both bareback and not, plus some threesomes. There are other themes too, such as farm workers and construction site guys, a bit of leather, slings and rougher sex, but nothing too fetish. Movies run for around 20 minutes and come with streams and downloads.
The scenes are now in HD at 1,920 x 1,080, and the files are all Mp4. The lower res ones should be fine on phones and portable devices with the 'standard' offer being the smallest file size, around 350 Mbs, and there are then 'advanced', Web HD (1,280 x 720) and the full 1080p. Streams are also offered in three resolutions, standard, advanced and web HD at 720p, with sizes at 720 x 540 and 960 x 540. I have no issues when streaming or downloading and there appeared to be no limits on what I could take.
There are also 1,048 galleries split up into Action (242) and solos (806). Images are shown at 683 x 1,024, and all are good quality and digital, with posed shots and action ones, and some posed-action ones. They are easy to save, have about 50 to 200 + pics per set, easy navigation, slideshows and also zip files where you can save the whole set in one go.
New content is added weekly, giving you an excellent return on your on-going membership, and the guys are mainly European and American, the sex hardcore or solo, bareback or not, well-shot and easy to access. Butch Dixon has kept up his standards since our last visit and shows no signs of slowing down.
The members' area at Butch Dixon is simple, but not too basic looking. You have the home page for your recent updates, the videos area, galleries, model index and a drop-down for some bonus features. Movies and galleries are shown with large sample shots, models names and upload dates, and viewing pages are simple to use. For each video you will find a stream screen and you options beneath, plus the download buttons, a description and other details, plus, at the bottom of the page, you can comment, rate and add to favourites. All your basic interactive functions are there.
Those extras include bonus scenes. This is a page of adverts for other sites really, but on it, you can find streams (only) of several movies from various sites: Spritzz, Raw Fuck, UK Hot Jocks, UK Naked Men (excellent site and worth joining) and French Lads - one of my favourite European porn sites. You don't have to sign-up to these sites to see the offered sample scenes. Your other bonus feature (apart from links to shops etc.) is a Feed area with 12 sites listed. It calls them VOD sites, but I was able to play their streams without having to pay any extra cash.
Meanwhile, back at the signup page, you have four options. You can opt for unlimited streaming but no downloads at $19.95 per month, or the full membership at $29.95 per month to include everything. (Well worth it.) There is also a three-month offer at $49.95 per period which saves 33% on the monthly deal, and one where you can take a non-recurring month at $39.95. There are no hidden charges.
It's always worth going back to check up on sites, to make sure they are behaving, and I'm really pleased to see that Butch Dixon has been. The site has updated weekly, now has over 488 exclusive, European bear and hunk movies, plus galleries, extra feeds and bonuses, and HD movies that are exclusive. It's gone from butch strength to strength, employing Euro porn stars and newbies, but always spunky and up for some cum-fun, and it's prices have stayed low despite its growth. Excellent.
