Hot Older Male comes to us from Pantheon Studios, a place that has an eye to quality. It's great to find a site that gives us older guys, daddies and bears, and that always stays with its niche. It gives you a goodly amount of decent quality movies and galleries starring horny older men, silver-daddies and hairy guys in hardcore and solo scenes. These are exclusive to the company, they come with a model index, galleries and HD versions of movies that can be streamed and downloaded.

The tour looks the same as the members area here so you can see what you are going to find once you've signed up, before you part with any money. Actually, the membership price surprised me, it must be one of the lowest for such a professional site that I've seen. You'd normally expect to pay this amount (less than $10.00 a month) for a site that is amateur run and that looks like it's been put together at webpage school. But Hot Older Male is more or less giving away its content, and it also has a site that is well designed, nicely laid out, easy to use and functional; not what you'd expect for such a low fee.

So, you're getting a bargain here and Id grab a membership before they change their mind. Ok, so updates are not that frequent, I saw them coming in at around two or three pieces of content each month but you already have: 263 videos, 161 good photo sets and over 320 models on offer.

Videos are shown in three qualities of Flash streaming which start at medium and get bigger; you are going to need a pretty fast connection to handle the largest ones. The basic version here did look a little pixelated, but nothing too bad, and the full sized version was fine, though going full screen doesn't actually enlarge the visuals very much. The downloads come in WMV format and Quicktime and I found resolutions at 1,500 kbps @ 720 x 480 for WMV and 1,600 kbps @ 640 x 480 for Quicktime. There are other resolutions available in these formats too, and in total there were three streams and six download options per scene, which is pretty good going. Scenes ran for around 25 minutes each and were well put together, and had good quality lighting and sound. The download speed for me was around the 200k mark which was similarly impressive.

As for the action that happens in your videos: you will find some lead-ins and intros, some scene setting and then plenty of hardcore. You've got guys of all ages here though no one is too young; this is a no twink zone (having said that, I found Greg Stanton aged 22, but there's no way hes your classic twink, more like a dad before his time), in fact I don't remember seeing any jocks either. Id say most, if not all of the models here are over 40. There are some sort options for your content where you can filter all the scenes to find things like older with older, or older with younger, or only guys over 50, and you can also sort the bears from the suit daddies, and the big dicks from the leather.

When you get to a scenes viewing page you will also find links to the DVD store towards the bottom of the page, this will take you to the company's store where you can buy similar movies, the hard copies, and where you can find even more bear and older guys content to own. At the same time there are links to the guys entry in the model index. Don't forget the galleries either; there are 161 photo sets, they are not updated as often as the videos area, but the pictures are available in high resolution and lower resolution galleries; both versions give you clear action pics which are sharp and which come with easy navigation.

Talking of navigation, you will have no trouble here. The top menu stays with you, apart from when a gallery image opens in a new window, and you can always get home again. Or rather, back to the first of the Video index page which is where you tend to start from. You will see drop-down lists for more pages and there are five samples per page and these come with descriptions, runtimes (for movies) and the upload dates. There are also stars to click if you want to rate a scene, and towards the top of each index page are those search and sort options.

On individual movie, model and gallery pages you find the star ratings again, so you can get slightly involved and influence the Most Popular area of the site which you will see in the top menu. There is also an add to favourites function for you to use, and a place where you find everything or everybody that you have added.

The design is swish and dark, but all the links are easy to see, there are no technical problems here and you do get a good choice for viewing the videos. A comments area or forum would be fun to see, but there is a blog to click too and a page of suggested links. If you want to get really involved then check out the links towards the bottom of the main pages. Down here you will find on to a place where you can apply to be a model, and you cant get much more involved than that.

Hot Older Male sticks to its guns and brings you hardcore sessions with some stunning older guys; fit men, muscled daddies, suited daddies, silver-daddies and some amateur looking, ordinary bears and older men too. You get a good count of exclusive scenes in many viewing formats and qualities, and the overall production quality is excellent, DVD standard, just as you find in the stores and better. This is a company that knows its niche and does not disappoint.
