What you see on the tour is what you get at Pantheon Bear, a site that holds this company's own exclusive bear content and one which gives us hard and fast, horny and hairy older guys in non-stop hardcore sessions. If you're looking for bear content then this place is going to serve you well. The sign-up fee is a steal at under $10.00 a month, you've got a decent stock of bear movies so far, galleries and a model index, and updates happen during each month.
Starting with a basic content count: when I saw the site there were 107 movies/scenes, 133 models in the model index, and 45 image galleries, and this content dated back to 2009. I have to say that I also found the updates to be a bit on the slow side. They were on time, but there were only two videos and one gallery uploaded per month in recent months. But I have also found a way to get around this and that's to check out the company's other site, Hot Older Male, where you get similar content and possibly some of the same cast. That's also really cheap to join, though great quality, and you can join both sites and still pay less than you might for a single site elsewhere.
But that's just me. If you're happy with the sound of three new pieces of content each month, then read on. I would be perfectly happy considering the quality of what you actually get, and the exclusivity, and the fact that this is hot and hard to find bear content. There are lots of bear sites, I know, but not many as good as Pantheon Bear.
Start with the movies, and each one is sampled with a good image and description; the home page will show you a video trailer too (just as you see on the tour) and each movie comes with streams and downloads. You can actually choose your Flash streaming in medium, large and highest qualities and, although the screen sizes stay the same the quality does improve slightly as you up-grade. The basic version was fine, if a little fuzzy at times because it was in quite a large window. Faster connections will fare better with the higher resolution versions of course. As for downloads you also have three choices of resolution for both WMV and Quicktime. I found movies here that were 1,500 kbps @ 720 x 480 for WMV and 1,600 kbps @ 640 x 480 for Quicktime. The download speed was decently quick for me (200kbps) so the larger files were not too much of a problem.
The thing that really strikes you though is the quality of the men. You are looking at some top performers here, with amateur looking guys as well as studly, hairy older men, heavy guys who work out and your classic bears. There are solo and action movies, and you can always find what you want by searching the model index and being led by face and body shots. Silver-daddies, men over 50, chubbies to an extent, and hot dads abound in this model index and, if you want to see who everyone else thinks is the best, then look at the Most Popular area of the site. Here, black bear Wood was top dog, though Ford Holland and Mark Bishop were the stars of the top video, and Bronson Gates and Roman Wright were the top photo set couple.
And talking of photo sets; you've got 45 galleries to browse. They have various amounts of pics each and these open in simple thumbnail galleries once you have selected whether you want high or lower resolution images. 1,200 x 800 was the higher resolution size and individual images open in new windows. All that I saw were clear and sharp, well taken and action pics throughout.
Working through your easy to handle top menu: the home page (click the Pantheon Bear shield to get back to it), brings you samples of the new videos, the new men and recent galleries, and also shows you what is coming soon. Update dates are published and kept to. You then wander through the handy top links where you can click to the videos, galleries, men, a page of links, the favourites area and blog.
As you view videos you get a chance to rate them and you see the current star rating for each one on the index pages. This system also works for the galleries so you can get slightly interactive by casting votes. It would be good to see a forum here or some way of leaving comments, though I guess you could always comment via the blog. I found that all the links worked, there was no trouble with navigation and I was able to get around the site really easily.
I also found that other technical things worked well, in that pages opened nice and fast, there were no missing links, the download speed was fine and I could download more than one video at a time. Basically, what you see on the tour is what you find inside the members area as they are the same thing. But only when you have paid your ridiculously low monthly fee will you unlock the full streams and downloads, the full videos and the full fury of these furry bears.
Pantheon Bear gives you a decent stock of excellent bear and daddy content from a top studio. You wont find much to complain about here and you certainly should not grumble at the price. Ok, so it's low, maybe, because there are only two new videos each month, but there are galleries added too and there is the blog to read. And, add on the fact that the site is exclusive and well laid out, and the men are some of the hottest amateur and pro bear models around, and you've just about got it all.
