While streaming the medium quality versions, I found it was easy to jump through and pick up the videos and also go full screen where the quality was still just about fine. There are enough options there to suit most of us, and you shouldn't have any trouble streaming or taking the files.
There are no galleries as such but each video has a few sample shots with it so you can see what happens, and there are also previews to give you an idea. They come with descriptions as well, as do the guys in the Buddies index, and the rest is up to your imagination. The Free Videos section is the behind the scenes area where you can find 21 videos from YouTube which are laddish and natural and where the army guys hang out, drink and play fight. It's cute, but not always sexy in the same way as the harder videos.
On the downside, when it comes to content, the site did stop updating for a while and during 2017 didn't add many more videos. The number rose from 169 in August 2016 to 173 in November 2017, which still gives you enough to view when you take up a membership.
One of the things I liked about My Straight Buddy was that it was easy to navigate and use. There's a basic side menu for Videos, the BTS movies and the Buddies list of guys. This is a handy browse tool. You can scout through the list of pics and details about the guys, find a cutie or a butch-boy and then discover a bit about him. You can then link to his video(s), and there are linked tag words, so the site will filter out what you like to see. Movies can also be rearranged on the index page, and you can change the way you see those pages.
Other links on the site take you to a live cam site (my Straight Buddy at Chaturbate), and there's a help section. It would be nice to see some feedback system here like rates or comments or a forum, but otherwise it's a simple site with a design that works, and it gave me no technical issues.
The sign-up options are odd. At least, not odd, but not what I was expecting. I checked them out and found myself signing up to Straight Off Base with My Straight Buddy as a bonus, but I didn't see a link back the other way in My Straight Buddy. It looks like you have two sites for the price of one when you join, so that's even better news. Even better is that that monthly payment for these sites together was only $19.95 and there were no cross sales.
It looks like My Straight Buddy is a tag-on to Straight Off Base (which we've also reviewed). It doesn't update much anymore, but it does give you a decent amount of horny amateur videos of straight Marines and others messing around, jerking off, some hardcore and BJs, and a lot of straight-boy bravado and fun. Streams, downloads and a bonus site are the main draws, but there are no galleries, and updates are few and far between. A great price and some really hot, straight military guy sex.
