There are a few different ways to watch these HD, exclusive 3D movies, and the site comes with full instructions, so there is no problem there. The site is not huge, but there was content from six other HD sites available to me with my membership as well. At 3D X Star we have some very sexy porn stars in hardcore scenes, girls together and all in 3D of course. You can also watch the scenes in standard 2D so if you're not into the new style of porn viewing it doesn't matter.
Logging in was easy and I came straight to a home page that showed me some very horny looking girls in sample images showing the recent videos. As I mentioned, this is not a big site and at first I thought that was because it was new. But looking at things in more detail on this home page I found it started up with its first piece of content in December 2012, 11 months ago, and there are still only 12 pieces of content. That is because the site only adds one new scene each month, and that means it is going to be very interesting to see the bonuses and what else is available here so we can judge if this is a decent value membership or not.
The 12 scenes are found on the home page, the menu items don't list scenes, but they do link to other content from other sites, but more about that later. So Home is where the videos are. Click one of the sample images and you come to a simple viewing page where there more three ways to run the 2D stream thats 480, 720 or 1080p, with the lower resolution being chosen for you as default. Also chosen for me was the format of the 3D, and in this case it was Side by side, two identical images of the same stream. I didn't have the glasses or set up for that but I did for Anaglyph which is the way to go if you want to stream in 3D and if you have the gasses. There is also a straightforward 2D version if you want to go that way.
Downloads were available in the same resolutions and in Mp4 files. The lowest quality one of these produced a file that was over 800Mbs in size, so you will need a good connection, or a long wait, if you are going to take the big files. But generally speaking the quality was fine. Watching in 3D with glasses give the scene a kind of sepia tone but the 3D effect works well. It's all simple filming of simple stories, with hot models in hardcore action that runs for a good length of time. Up to one hour for some scenes, hence the large files.
Movies come with short descriptions to set the tone and with full screen options, but that is it. I could make a list of what is not here, such as galleries, model info, interactive options and I could also point out that there are adverts to trusted partners along the bottom of the pages, which we don't really need and which feel like window dressing as there is little else on each viewing page other than the video stream and download buttons.
There is though a model index with 45 girls listed. These ladies must come from the network and if you click to view more details about each one (there are a few stats here) you then head straight over to any content she appears in, from any of the other sites you can access. Actually, you access their content, rather than a whole site. If you head to Sites in the menu you find a drop-down list of six titles, you click one and the page changes, so you stay under the same menu and banner. I found 36 movies here and they were also presented in 3D. The sites you have content from include Milfs, Babes, the same Stars as we've just seen, some anal sex and Hoes N Toes for foot fetish content. (Three scenes.)
The home page features some top lists and video of the week features, and there are some social networking share buttons to click on if you want, but other than that the site lacks interactivity. We could also do with a little more information, things about the scenes, when new ones are coming, who made them who appears in them and so on. There are no galleries either, and it's always nice to be able to collect images. Technically though the 3D side of things works really well and there are full instructions so you won't have any trouble with that, unless you are on a very slow connection.
The design is neat and simple and even though there are some adverts to other sites, they don't get in the way of your viewing. Navigation is easy and the top menu stays with you as you browse around. I found all the pages were fast enough to load up and gave me no problems at all. Other than that though, there are no extra features to talk about and no hassles.
We are also told that the site is suitable for mobile platforms in both 3D and 2D formats.
In the end I decided that 3D X Star is the banner title for the site Pornstar In Your Face, as it holds the same content, and then also includes content from five other small sites, giving you 36 scenes in total. The 3D side of things works very well and there are plenty of instructions if you need them. The quality is good, these are HD and exclusive movies and the site runs with no trouble. The price is a little on the high side for such a small content count but then it is all exclusive.
