It was quite a surprise to see that the site was first launched only mid way through last year considering that Krystal Steal has been around for quite a while now. The first content added was a photo gallery which was uploaded on the 1st of January back in 2008. Updates come in quite slowly but they are still being added to the site with a new video and photo set being uploaded once per month. The last upload occurred last month on the 13th of September no news on the next update though I am sure it's just around the corner seeing as it is already October. As far as overall numbers go I am sad to say that Krystal's site is quite small with only 9 episodes on offer. The photo gallery is considerably larger with 90 photo sets all up. Quite a disappointment to be honest especially for such a well known pornstar such as Krystal Steal.
Ok so the site does quite poorly as far as content numbers go but how does it go when it comes to quality? Well I can tell you right now that it does just above average but only barely. Members can download their videos in mpeg videos or stream them off the site in flash and wmv videos which come in 700kbps @ 720x480. The mpegs are higher in encoding rate compared to the streamed versions at 1100kbps but the funny thing is the resolution is lower at 640x480, either way given the decent kbps rate the video look nice even if you were to blow the screens up to full screen. Videos are fairly short going from 10 to 20 minutes each however they have decided to include short 1 minute clips of the scenes for further convenience.
As expected from an official site of a pornstar the photos on offer are great! On average the photo sets contain roughly 75 images each. The photo shoots which are softcore in nature are crisp and colorful whilst the hardcore photo shoots which look as though they were taken during the video shoot aren't as great but are still quite decent. The larger photos can get up to 1024x682 pixels in size which is fairly decent. I feel the site could have done better given it is the official site of Krystal Steal but all in all it does above average as far as general quality goes.
Given the fact that the site only has a handful of episodes it's a damn good thing that it is a part of a network which you gain free access to on signing up to any one of its sites. This network is called Club Jenna and as you may have guessed it's Jenna Jameson. All up there are 15 sites on this network including Krystal Steal's each site is an official site of a pornstar and judging by the names present they have included quite the entourage of high caliber pornstars such as Alexis Amore, Lela Star, Faith Leon, and of course the beautiful Miss Jenna Jameson herself. So even though this site may not have a whole heap of content on offer as a whole members do gain access to quite a bit of porn and quite the delicious line up of pornstars to boot!
After signing in through the tour pages members are immediately taken to the main members area of the Club Jenna network. This page contains all the latest updates across the entire network along with links to the various sites including Krystal's. You can find this link within the right navigation menu along with all the other site links. You'll also notice the bar at the top of each page which includes logo links to the various sites as well. One thing's for sure they have definitely designed the site so that the task of site hopping is quite the easy one though it does get a tad confusing at first when it comes to browsing the content, you'll know what I mean when you check it out yourself.
Once you are on Krystal's main page you will immediately be presented with all the latest updates including both the videos and photo sets. If you wish to see the content in their separate archives you can use the links found down the left navigation border. Use either the "my photos" or "my videos" links depending on which archive you wish to use. Browsing the archives is fairly straight forward as it's all very standard, the content is presented in thumbnail links which are organized from latest to oldest across indexed pages and clicking on the thumbnails will take you to the main content page from where you can view the photos, stream the videos, or download them. Members also have the choice of downloading entire photo sets in a zip file if they wish to view them offline.
There's not much else to say about the site, there are quite a few links in the navigation menu down the left side of the page though I felt a lot of them were unnecessary as they lead to the same pages. There are also quite a few third party service links including online adult shops, live cam girls, and club Jenna dating site. As for the site presentation well I have to say that it looks quite modern, it looks flashy though it hasn't been over done so it's very visually appealing. Plus everything is nicely spaced out so the page does look quite neat. Overall the site was quite easy to browse and looks nice to boot, I just felt they could have gotten rid of some of the links in the navigation menu as some of them do tend to confuse but other than that it's a fairly straight forward site to navigate.
I'll be brutally honest here and say that I was quite underwhelmed most likely due to the fact that it is an official site of a well known pornstar so my expectations were way up there! The main aspect which let me down is definitely the low amounts of content on offer because if memory serves me correctly I am sure Krystal has starred in way more than 8 episodes, the photo collection is decent though I am sure you will all agree with me that there should be more videos.
