The intros before the action get started aren't as long as I've seen on some reality sites, but there is a considerable amount of talking, sometimes in broken English and sometimes in a language I don't know. Overall I thought these tended to run too long at times, but if you like a lot of set up, you'll enjoy the chit chat and banter. The videos from the first year or so of updates can be very discolored and grainy and have considerably lower specs than the newer flicks which are available at up to 720x480 pixels, 1500 kbps, making them suitable for full screen viewing. Each episode consists of a DRM-free video and a set of digital still photos, and the newer portion of the collection also includes a set of screen capture images from the video with each scene. The photos started off at 640 pixels on the long side and eventually reached 900 pixels on the long side for the newer updates.

The collection at Mike's Apartment is more than enough on its own to warrant a join to this hardcore site, but when you add in the 25 other sites in the network, it's a must see! Updates are added for the network every single day, and on the day I visited the site, there were three updates planned all seven days for a total of 21 new full releases each week!

Orange, grey and red dominate the tour pages at Mike's Apartment, and although there are some themed graphics like a newspaper background and the door of what must be Mike's apartment at the top of the page, for the most part, the focus is on the girls and the scenes. You can see large preview images as well as video trailers to get an idea of what you'll be seeing once inside.

When you log into the site, you'll be put into the Mike's Apartment section of the Reality Kings network member's area. From there, you can simply start browsing the collection, or head to the network hub page to view all of the recent network updates and other information. On each page you will find the main menu consisting of three different third-party ads or up-sells in addition to the three or four actually helpful sections which include a link back to the home page, browse and search, favorites and sites where you'll find the full network list.

The browse and search section allows you to search by keyword, or browse models by the first letter of their first name. There is also a tag system in place where you can click certain words from a list like shaved, blowjob, and masturbation to pull up a list of matching materials.
