Vixeo is one of the many sites these days which offer downloadable DVD content. You can access thousands of full length DVD titles for less than a single release costs at your local adult video shop, and Vixeo offers useful search tools and some cool features for members, not to mention daily updates!
Vixeo has quite a large collection of its own at 3330 full length DVDs comprised of a total of over 440,000 porn video scenes and updates with two new releases each and every day. When it comes to DVD download sites, there's so much competition and so many sites offering similar collections that it can be hard to really compare them, but even if some other DVD sites offer more flicks, Vixeo is still doing pretty well for itself in terms of the size of the collection with this many videos available.
Vixeo includes DVD titles in just about all of the major smut categories and some not-so-major ones as well. You'll see straight fucking, lesbians, group sex, gang bangs, BDSM, bondage, freaky fetishes, pregnant women, teens, amateurs and even gay and shemale flicks. The DVDs come from a wide range of studios and include some relatively new releases as well as some vintage classics. Since these scenes come from many different sources, places and time periods, the site features all kinds of performers from never-before-seen amateurs to the most famous pornstars in the world.
Vixeo has been around for quite a while, and the quality levels offered have varied over time. A good portion of the flicks are offered at 640x480 pixels with bitrates of 2000-2500 kbps, and these are typically suitable for full screen viewing.
Like many sites offering DVD materials, the tour pages at Vixeo are essentially just a copy of the members' area pages. You can browse the entire collection including every single scene complete with some screen capture images without signing up, so it's easy to take a look at the titles that are offered in your favorite categories or check out the selection for your favorite star.
Vixeo has a cool looking gray and green layout and is pretty easy to navigate, though a full list of all titles doesn't seem to be available. You can browse the collection by category, or by most recent additions or most popular scenes and titles, and you can also look up the flicks by porn star name. Unlike most sites that offer a model index, both male and female names can be searched. There are also drop down menus that allow you to look up titles by series or studio. A keyword search box is also offered, but it only searches the titles and performer names rather than any kind of scene description info, so I had mixed luck when using it to search for various keywords.
Many of the Vixeo videos are offered in WMV, MPG and MP4 formats for download, but that can vary. Most of the flicks come in at least a couple of different quality levels for WMV format downloads, but some are only offered in WMV format without quality level options.
One interesting feature that Vixeo has in common with only a few DVD download sites is the ability to cut your own custom clip. Using a long string of screen captures taken at regular intervals throughout the movie, you can click the beginning and ending frames and download only the portion of the action you want to see. It's a very cool little feature, but it's only offered for some of the videos.
Vixeo isn't my personal top pick for porn video download sites, but they offer some pretty unique content from various parts of the world including France and Germany, and I think this sets them apart from many of their larger competitors. The price here is higher than many similar sites charge, but a quick look through the extremely informative tour here should be more than enough to help you make your decision on this large downloadable DVD collection!
