Just 18 has been updating for almost exactly 6 years now, and the collection is a nice size at well over 1000 photo galleries and nearly 450 videos. The update schedule here doesn't seem to be set in stone, but members can expect at least one new photo gallery or one new video each week, and often times more are added. In addition to the video and photos sections, members can also access a small section containing about three years worth of magazine archives ranging from 2006 two 2008. Members also get bonus access to 14 other sites in the network including several that also offer their own magazine archives section.
The models here are a mixture of well-known babes like Euro hottie Anette Dawn and American cutie Aspen Parker as well as plenty of amateurs I'm not familiar with. The action runs the full gamut from solo posing to masturbation to softcore lesbian scenes to full on lesbian sex to hardcore sex and even group sex. There is a definite and undeniable magazine style here. That means that the materials can feel a bit "same-y" and they mostly have that posed magazine look to them. Magazine fans should have no complaints, but it will be a bit of a change for those used to your typical online porn and DVD style materials.
I believe that most of the materials here, even though more recently added, are on the older side. I see some very young looking shots of models who are in their late 20s or 30s now, and they're being posted as new materials. The top-quality photos here are around 1400 pixels on the long side and look pretty good, although high death images would obviously be much better. The photos found in older reaches of the archives are very, very small compared to today's standards. Video quality tops out at around 640 x 480 pixels, 2000 kbps. The flicks I downloaded were mostly grainy and the color balance isn't always correct.
As is the case with the other sites in this network that I've visited lately, the tour pages for Just 18 do an excellent job of showing the kind of action and models you'll see inside the members area, but they don't give hard facts about the size of the collection, the quality level, or the update status. Some stats would really go a long way here.
The members' area here isn't set up in the same way that most other magazine based sites I've visited and looks a lot more like your typical online collection instead. A menu near the top of the page provides easy access to the photo and video sections as well as a model index and the magazine archives. There are also some other options on this menu for things like third party dating services and low quality, streaming only bonus materials.
It's easy to access the photos with downloadable ZIP files, variable speed slideshows, and basic thumbnail galleries that allow you to view the images from within the members area. Unfortunately, things aren't as neatly organized were easy to use when it comes to the videos. The choices offered are all over the place, and often times the first clip or two of the scene is offered in a format not available for the final clips. This means that you might download parts one and two of the video in high quality, but you'd have to download the last two clips and low quality. It's an extremely annoying problem that detracts significantly from the enjoyment of the materials.
It's difficult to think of a porno category with more competition than teen smut. There are just so many sites out there featuring models aged 18 to 23 or so that you really have to have a high quality offering to stand out at all. Unfortunately, I can't say that that is the case here at Just 18. The quality of the materials is below average, things have an overall generic feel, and the members area isn't particularly user-friendly. You might want to check this one out for the bonus package, but for the best of teen porn, I think I'd look elsewhere.
