First things first, Wild Young Honeys is no longer a growing collection. The most recent of the 24 available video/photo combo scenes was already nearly a year and a half old on the day I visited the site, and there's nothing here that would indicate that growth will pick up again. With such a tiny collection and nothing new on the way for Wild Young Honeys, the site really depends on the bonus network access to 21 additional European based sites to boost its value enough to even be worth consideration. Members also gain access to a large collection of third party feeds and streaming DVD titles.
Aside from the "young" aspect here, these hardcore scenes don't really have much of a common thread in terms of plot or setting. The action generally takes place in a bed or on a couch, and though the babes are all very hot and sexy, I felt like something was missing here. Overall, I think what the site lacks most aside from growth is personality. These are essentially plot-less, one-on-one scenes with some straight forward fucking and sucking, and that's about it. There is quite a bit of difference between the quality of the videos found at the beginning of the archives and those which were added toward the end of the site's nine month growth period. The sizes range from 520x400 pixels to 852x480 pixels, the bitrates from 800 to over 3000 kbps. The larger the dimensions and higher the bitrate, the nicer the video, and many of these can be viewed in full screen with no quality loss. There is no DRM on any of the video files, so downloaded movies can be saved and played indefinitely. Photos are nice and an OK size at around 1000 pixels on the long side.
The Wild Young Honeys tour pages are pretty plain with mostly purple backgrounds and graphics. They offer some small to medium sized preview pictures, but even though there were links for video trailers listed for several scenes, none of the links actually took me to a preview video. Instead, no matter what I clicked here, I found myself at the signup page. There is no mention of the size of collection or the fact that updates are not ongoing, although they do let potential members know about the bonus package.
The member's area doesn't offer many helpful navigation features, and search features are completely non-existent. The collection here is pretty small and is manageable without search features when considered on its own, but the overall network would certainly benefit from search features, model bio info, a model index and search and more. As it is, the main methods for getting around here are the top menu and sidebar menu found within the members' area. Materials are listed beginning on the main page, and you can navigate to the home page, recent and upcoming network updates, third party feeds and streaming DVDs, favorites section, a list of all included sites and top rated scenes using these two sections of the site. There is also a menu option labeled date which leads to an ad for a dating service.
The small Wild Young Honeys scene collection is listed in date order. Each is marked with a date stamp and the models name and also includes a very brief description of the scene, but there's really not much info given here. All of the flicks are offered for download and streaming in WMV format, and most have split pieces and full length versions available, though the quality varies as I mentioned. Some of the more recent flicks can also be streamed in Flash format in split pieces only. In keeping with the very simplistic member's area, photos are offered only in basic thumbnail galleries, so if you want to grab all of these at once, you'll need your own method.
This is, simply put, a small, non-growing collection with varying quality materials that probably aren't even truly exclusive to the network. Anyone who is interested in the Wild Young Honeys collection would be well advised to take a close look at the available bonus package. With a small collection and no updates coming for a site in one of the most common categories of smut on the, the network access is really the only reason to join up.
