I believe that Amateur Canada has been around for at least 10 years and it may even be closer to 15. The site has gone through a couple of different incarnations in that time, but as of the day when I visited in mid April of 2013, the site had not been updated regularly in around one year. There was a message inside the site from who I assume to be the site's manager or owner letting members know that updates would begin after he returned from vacation, but only around three updates were made after that point in time. There is a decent amount to see here with around 415 videos and around 360 photo galleries.
If you like variation in your amateur porn collections, you'll definitely appreciate the mixture of scenes Amateur Canada has put together for you. While the performers here are almost exclusively amateurs and everything is filmed in a pretty amateur style, this seems to have a touch of plot and dialogue here and there as the amateurs role-play with each other. You'll see horny plumber getting it on with their clients, real-life couples doing blow jobs and tittyfucks, lots of masturbation, hairy housewives banging, barely legal cuties posing naked at a picnic, hand jobs with dirty talk, and much more. Other scenes are very straightforward and simply feature masturbation or lesbian or straight sex.
With scenes spanning probably at least a decade and probably even longer, the quality level here varies considerably with time. Some of what must be the oldest themes available, at very small sizes of just 320 x 240 pixels and have bitrates of around 300 kbps. A handful of scenes that were added just before updates stopped are offered at up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and with bitrates of over 5000 kbps. You'll also find scenes with varying specs between the tiny video files and the more recent HD files. There are some quality issues with the materials here and there including blurriness, graininess, or insufficient lighting. I also ran into a few videos in which the audio was out of sync with the video.
The members area here has an overly busy and somewhat dated look to it. While the video and photo sections are pretty self-explanatory, the categories that the materials are broken into sometimes doesn't make much sense. Even getting a handle on how the number of photo sets available here was a little tricky due to the way that they are divided up and displayed on the site. The site offers a model index and you can search for amateurs based in certain Canadian provinces, but you can search the models by physical attribute. Most of the other search and navigation tools I look for on a collection of this type and size are also missing.
The options for accessing the videos can vary from scene to scene. Most of the downloadable files come in WMV or MP4 format and streaming is sometimes offered in Flash format, but you can't necessarily expect that each option will be available for each flick and some of the scenes only come in one of these options. There is a similar variation when it comes to accessing the photos. Most of them are available for viewing as a slideshow or in a thumbnail gallery, and a good number of them can also be downloaded in ZIP files. Some of the sets even come in multiple sizes and quality levels.
I sometimes ran into some problems navigating the site. Sometimes pages don't load or load very slowly. Despite this, I was still able to download the ZIP files and video files at pretty nice speeds.
While it would certainly be preferable for Amateur Canada to continue updating with new materials, I think there's enough here to warrant checking out if you're interested in seeing some authentic amateur stuff based in Canada. I appreciated the focus on genuine amateurs as well as the variety they cover within the collection. The bonus sites, while all of them are much smaller than Amateur Canada, still add a little bit of extra variety and some bonus materials to help increase the value here.
