Amateur Idols is a small, non-exclusive site that is part of the massive All Adult Pass network. This particular collection features older materials starring mostly unknown amateurs in hardcore action. Members get free access to a huge package of bonus sites and other extras in many, many different XXX niches ranging from plain old hardcore to wacky, off-the-wall fetishes.
On its own, Amateur Idols is a small site with just 34 videos. Ive visited the site before, and it looks like things have changed quite a bit. While the previous collection of flicks was larger, exclusive, and come with matching photo sets, the materials on offer now seem to be older, non-exclusive videos that probably come from a variety of sources. The dates on the releases indicate weekly growth, but since the site is smaller now than it was months ago, its hard to be sure that things are as they seem.
The scenes here are very amateur in style and typically feature a brief interview with the amateur chick or couple before they get busy. The babes here range from barely legal to MILFs. Some look like they could be professional models, others have more of an average girl-next-door look. While most scenes are one-on-one with a chick and a guy, there are also a few lesbian videos in the collection.
The bonus package here really has a lot more to offer than Amateur Idols on its own. There are over 70 exclusive sites with over 2000 additional scenes and over 55 third party bonus feeds, plus a huge DVD collection and over 15000 photo sets. Theres so much here that it seemed like every time I took another look at the members area, I saw something I hadnt seen before. There are at least 1000 additional amateur sex scenes here in addition to the sites small core collection.
Quality here isnt great, but isnt terrible for this kind of amateur content. The flicks come at up to 720x480 pixels, 2600 kbps, but there are more distortion and noticeable quality problems than most other files Ive viewed with similar specs. The issues are even more apparent in the streaming versions of each movie.
Amateur Idols has a pale purple and white tour that doesnt give a very accurate representation of whats inside. Many of the scenes previewed here dont actually seem to be part of the collection once inside, and some of the models arent really amateurs, nor do they appear in the core materials. You may find them in the bonus sections, but I didnt have much luck.
The scenes here can be sorted in order of date, views, ratings, and most favorited, and theres a keyword search box that I had mixed results with. Theres also an amateur model index, although you cant search for models based on physical attributes, just browse them. The main navigation is done using the menu on the left side of the page and this is where youll find a link to the matching DVD section for each included site.
Each flick may be streamed in Flash format or downloaded in WMV or MP4 formats in two different quality levels. One of the MP4 versions is suitable for viewing on your computer, the other is formatted for portable devices like iPods. The WMV files come at a medium and high quality level. A few of the flicks dont seem to have as many options for some reason, and options definitely vary when you get into the rest of the network.
Amateur Idols is a below average site with only a small, non-exclusive collection on its own, and I think that overall, most amateur sex fans will want to look elsewhere. This is a site that pretty much relies completely on the bonus materials to have any real value at all, and admittedly, there is a lot of value in the overall package. This is one to join for the network access rather than its own must-see materials.
