Celebrity Spanker promises the chance to "get your spank on to Hollywood's sexiest celebrities" and access to all of the hottest celebrity scandals. This general celebrity collection focuses on the naughtier moments in celebrity lives including on-screen nudity and accidental nip slips but also includes candid vacation photos, publicity still, modeling photos, music videos, and more. Membership includes free bonus access to an entire network filled with celebrities.
Celebrity Spanker offers a fairly large collection at over 12,700 photo galleries and over 2520 video clips, but unfortunately the video section here had not been updated in around nine months when I visited in January of 2013. While it does look like they're adding new photo materials just about everything all day, often with several sets being added at once, the lack of video updates is a pretty big deal on this kind of site since celebrities film new nude scenes and make new appearances all the time.
The materials featured here include clips of TV shows and movies that feature nude scenes, magazine appearances, candid paparazzi style shots, publicity photos from movie premieres, and even pictures from lingerie catalogs. While there is a site within the network dedicated specifically to fake fantasy videos and photos of celebrities, it's probably worth noting that some of the fakes are also found here within the Celebrity Spanker collection. They all seem to be clearly marked as being fake, but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting from this particular collection. Members of the site get free bonus access to 10 other celebrity-based sites in the network, but I'm certain that at least some of the materials are shared between the sites because I ran across the same materials in multiple collections.
The quality level of the materials here can vary quite a bit, but overall I would consider most of what I found here to be below average. The images tend to be offered in smaller sizes than you might find them elsewhere, and the video materials, even when sourced from movies or TV shows, don't always look as nice as you would expect from a clip from a big-name Hollywood movie.
The Celebrity Spanker members area is part of the Gossip Members Network, and you can access this and all of the included bonus sites from a central location without having to login over and over again. You'll find a basic keyword search box, and advanced search page, and a list of celebrities. While there are some helpful features including the ability to sort the celebrities in your choice of alphabetical order or in order of popularity or date and some advanced search tools that allow you to combine various attributes, I don't think it's really enough to tame a collection this size. I would definitely prefer to see some enhanced browse and search tools.
Basic access options are provided for the materials here. The photo sets are offered for viewing in thumbnail galleries or for download in ZIP files while Flash format is the only way to access the videos here, both for download and streaming. Each flick is offered only at a single quality level.
In the end, Celebrity Spanker has a fairly large collection but lacks the continual video updates, truly comprehensive collection, and large number of editorial features it would take to be able to compete with the big players in the celebrity category. The site is fairly easy to use, and if you can do without the constant updates, it may be worth a look.
