Ebony Jewels is a modest looking site with a huge archive of medium quality non-exclusive porn. There is enough downloadable material here to jerk to for a year, but it's a quality VS quantity situation. If this doesn't bother you, you won't be too disappointed although if you shop around you could probably find a better deal elsewhere.
Ebony Jewels has a huge archive of videos, but it also comes with a handful of flaws that are going to put some people off. There's enough porn here to choke an elephant, but most of it lacks the high video quality and exclusivity that many people are looking for. It does serve its purpose though, so don't get me wrong.
With a membership to Ebony Jewels you get access to over 2000 scenes, ranging anywhere from 5-20 minutes each. The material is all made by third parties, so if you've seen a lot of filth in your lifetime, you may have seen some of this stuff before on other sites. There are a lot of scenes featuring black women, but there are a whole lot of white women as well. There are 4 categories: Ebony, Hardcore, Interracial and Lesbian.
The scenes seem to come in a random choice of either AVI (320x240 @ 350kbps) or WMV (320x240 @ 700kbps). Unfortunately, all of the scenes are cut into chunks and not available as full length scenes. The quality varies throughout the site, but all of the scenes are watchable at the least. On a positive note there are no watermarks on the videos.
In addition to the videos, you also get access to about 300 image galleries, each containing around 50 pictures. The JPGs are displayed in a decent size (800x530) and the photography is good for the most part. The only thing I have against the galleries is that they aren't available in a ZIP file, which these days should come standard.
There isn't much quality "bonus" material on the site, but I guess with 2000+ scenes you don't really need any. You get a few external streaming video feeds, but they aren't really that good. You also get a stories section with some entertaining articles in it, but nothing too exciting. Some sections on the site like the cams and dating sections may appear to be bonus, but you'll always end up paying for those types of services.
The introduction page to Ebony Jewels looks decent, but definitely a bit outdated. It takes you on a tour of the site and gives you a few preview images and trailer videos. The link to log in is found quickly and getting inside only takes a minute.
The Ebony Jewels member's area is a bit ugly and outdated as well, but it isn't too confusing and it works quite well. On the home page you see the site's newest updates and coming soon. A simple menu at the to of the screen links you between Home, Pictures, Videos, Live Cams, Personals, Store, Stories, Phone Sex and Bonus.
To get to the huge video archive click videos at the top or choose a genre from the menu on the left underneath videos. Choose a scene according to its preview image and click to reach the download page. Here you will see direct links to each clip. Right click these and select save as to download them.
The image galleries can be found by clicking pictures either at the top or left hand side of the screen. You'll see each gallery represented by a preview image link that will take you to the full gallery. Every image will be laid out here and the scaled down images will enlarge when they're clicked.
Most of the other sections at the top menu lead you to other services that you must pay for. The stories section is quite easy to understand, you just have to click and read. The bonus streaming scenes are easy too; just choose a video and video quality and they should begin to stream. The site is a bit ugly and old, but does its job and loads fast.
Despite its many flaws, Ebony Jewels really isnt all that bad. Sure, the video quality could be higher but its a tradeoff of quality and quantity because you get over 2000 juicy scenes. If you dont care how the packaging looks and you dont mind a smaller cutup video size, have a look at the tour.
