Porn’s power couple, Francesca Le and Mark Wood, direct and appear in their own porn, but also direct and produce porn staring other top names. They’ve produced for Evil Angel, their own site and collection, and for Next Levl, and their combined catalogue is now available at Le Wood. The numbers have changed since we last reviewed it, so here’s another look at the steamy anal, the raunchy reality and the top-class porn that has made Le Wood what it is today.
The duo of Le and Wood has been a well-respected name in porn since the 1990s. This married couple has worked as both performers and directors/producers of some of the USA's top porn, and they know what they are doing. Over the years, their collection has grown and developed, and they have worked for some major porn brands, including Evil Angel. You can see their contributions here, in a members’ area that combines their Evil Angel work with their own collection, and adds in their movies from Next Levl and elsewhere.
We last visited the collection a couple of years ago, and since then, the numbers have changed. Perhaps some older, lower-quality movies have been removed, but the number of scenes is down from the 1,500 we found last time to 1,441, and these are taken from 305 full movies. That’s not a bad content count in anyone’s book, and each of the scenes is either a hardcore one or a solo one with a top model or a known name. There’s a model index showing us 775 of the best names in porn, and you can use that or the scenes and movies pages as your way into the content.
The categories list is the way to go to discover what kind of porn Le Wood is offering, and just about every category or sub-niche is on the list. ‘Anal’ has the most hits/links in the category list page along with gonzo. What we have here are well-made and well-shot, general hardcore movies, with a listing towards anal and gonzo, with top porn stars who often don't need direction (but who get it if they do), and a hot mix of solos, lesbian action and duos, with some group scenes included.
Currently trending in the members’ polls are Angela White, India Summer, Dee Williams and Riley Reid, all well-established pornstars. However, newbies and rising stars of the adult industry are also welcome, and those recently joining the cast of hot and keen younger models include Katrina Colt, Theodora Day and Brianna Bourbon. If Le & Wood have booked them in, you can be sure they’re going to go far. It’d be good to know more about them, as not every model in the index gets and writeup or info, and when they do, it’s only the basic details; but you do get links to their videos, and that’s the main thing.
And talking of videos… There are two areas holding content. The Movies section of the members’ area gives you the full DVDs, and there are 305 of them right now. These come with box covers, titles and some info, and you can see when they are HD movies or standard DVD resolution. All of them have the Le Wood stamp of authenticity and guaranteed horniness, and each one’s box cover, when clicked, leads to the viewing page.
Here's the thing. Le Wood offers streaming-only videos. There are no downloads. Not all movies are right up there at top HD levels, as some of the content comes from the couple’s early days in porn, but even so, you have streams at 480p, and they are perfectly watchable. More recent movies are up at 4K HD though, and in between, you have plenty at 720p if not 1080p, with mid-range options that also give decent-quality playback. The scenes come with some screencaps and/or digital images, and there’s information too.
Use the simple navigation tools to explore further and you find you have the Archive. This is a drop-down list of three places from where the videos come, and I don't think there’s anything in there that’s not on your scenes page. You also have 46 movies in the ‘Smut Factor’, another area of the site with streams, but little explanation other than these scenes also appear to be directed by Le & Wood. While you are exploring the menu, you'll also find links to the handy category page, a page of linked tag words, and some shopping opportunities.
The index pages allow you to sort the videos into various orders, and you can choose the studio from which the movie comes. There’s also a drop-down of series. If you like to follow a particular star or theme, you can select movies by model and/or by tag. Finding content is simple, and there are no technical issue to worry about when opening pages. The only thing I couldn’t easily find was upgrade info.
The membership is streaming only, and the current discount price reflects this. Once inside the members’ area, you will see a link to ‘upgrade’ which takes you to the FAQ page. It doesn't, though, take you anywhere where you can actually upgrade and get downloads. You’ll have to wait for something to change, or get in there and use the handy help and content links. Meanwhile, you can signup for streaming at $12.99 per month, $49.99 for three months, or $149.99 for the year. A one-day trial at $1.99 will recur at the standard price of $24.99 per month unless you cancel, so watch out for that.
Le Wood now holds a decent number of full DVDs directed by Le and Wood, and which have previously been found on Evil Angel and other top sites. The quality of work remains faultless, the videos star many a top name and experienced porn star, plus a cast of newbies, and the members’ area is easy to navigate. It also looks to be regularly updated with new content or revamped older content, and there’s certainly plenty of 4K HD anal and hardcore gonzo to make for a value membership.
