3D Adult Comics combines the sexy allure of computer-generated hotties and comic book style, text based storylines. Whether the plots are little more than an excuse to get down to the hardcore action or feature in-depth plot, you'll see it all here. The site features realistic computer-generated models as well as more exotic and cartoonish types that look like aliens or other humanoid creatures. It's interesting collection, so let's dig on in!
3D Adult Comics has been around in one form or another for probably a decade at least, and I believe the site has gone through a few different incarnations in that time. Currently, the site offers 88 updates specifically in the 3D comics section in addition to 94 videos and around 900 image galleries. While dates on the materials in the various sections indicate that growth is ongoing across the site, only the image sections seem to actually get bigger as time goes on. It seems that, at least when it comes to the video stuff here, the materials are probably rotated rather than updated.
The 3D comics section with text-based storylines illustrated with 3D artwork is obviously the main focus of the site, but the collection also offers various other sections of materials. The 3D pinups section, for example, features photo galleries of the same 3D model posing in various ways, doing stripteases, and masturbating. The 3D series section is where you'll find these sexy little computer-generated vixens in hardcore action in image form while the self-explanatory movies section features the video materials. The site also offers a section of games featuring characters drawn in various styles.
I believe the materials here come from a variety of sources, and there's not necessarily consistent quality between them, nor is the style of art always the same from one update the next. The comic book pages and other image materials vary quite a bit in their exact size, but it looks like most of the videos here are offered at 640 x 480 pixels, 1700 kbps. HD quality is available for around one third of the videos, and some of these HD flicks are offered at 1280 x 720 pixels while others come at an impressive 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4200 kbps.
3D Adult Comics features a members area that is relatively clean and modern looking and offers some basic features, but could still use some improvements. A keyword search box is offered, and materials can be sorted in order of date, rating, or number of views. While the small number of content sections the site offers to choose from to help in browsing the collection, I'd like to see a way to narrow things down even more with tags or categories.
The comic book style and other image materials can be viewed in galleries from within the site, and ZIP files are also available. Flash and WMV format streaming is available, and WMV format files are also available for download in your choice of two different quality levels. MP4 format files are also offered for download in versions that are suitable for desktop or laptop viewing or for viewing on portable devices.
I'm not sure if I've ever reviewed a site that is specifically dedicated to 3D art in comic book form, and that alone makes this one stand out quite a bit in my mind. The other image and video materials feature similar themes and styles and should probably appeal to those interested in the comic style stuff. The price here is above average, but it may be worth it to fans of 3D comics.
