When I visited 3D Girlfriends at the end of October of 2013, the site was offering a collection of 94 videos and over 1000 mixed galleries of various types. While the dates on the materials in both the video and picture sections seem to indicate ongoing updates, only the picture section ever seems to get any larger. The movie section has stayed at around the same size for some time. New image materials seem to be added almost every day at the rate of about one new set each update.
The site has sections for 3D comics that feature 3D art with a storyline in text and visual form, 3D pinups that feature a series of images of the same sexy computer-generated character, 3D movies where the video action is found, flash animations where you can see animated storylines in cartoon form, and 3D series which seems to feature large sets of images that are often unrelated to one another. While it's obvious that the main focus here is the realistic, 3D stuff that looks like it could come out of a high-end, modern videogame, you'll also see more general, cartoonlike digital artwork and story lines here.
The materials here at 3D Girlfriends seem to come from a wide variety of sources, and the quality level can vary some. Most everything I saw here looked quite nice overall, and they even offer around a third of the videos at HD quality levels of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4200 kbps. The other videos still look pretty nice at their standard definition specs of around 640 x 480 pixels, 1700 kbps. Exact image size and quality can vary at least some, but I really have no complaints about the quality here. It's probably worth pointing out that at least some of the materials here seem to have originally come from Japan and have the familiar mosaic censorship over the naughtiest bits that Japanese porn fans are probably familiar with.
The members area for 3D Girlfriends is fairly straightforward in terms of use and offers some basic navigation tools, but I would like to see the rather large image section broken down into more meaningful categories, and something like a tag system could be helpful, as well. As it stands, the site offers a basic keyword search box and the ability to sort the materials in order of date, rating, or number of views.
The image materials can be viewed from within the site in thumbnail galleries, and ZIP files are also available. Flash and WMV formats are offered for streaming, and the WMV versions come in two different quality levels. MP4 and WMV formats are offered for download, and each comes in your choice of two different quality levels including one version that is specifically formatted for portable devices.
Considering the apparent lack of real video updates here, I was a little surprised at the sites above average price. There is quite a bit of image material to see here, but I don't believe any of it is exclusive and it's not necessarily presented in the best way. I'm not exactly sure what's going on with the bonus sites since I wasn't able to access any of them from the members area. In the end, I have to say that there are probably better places to get your fix of sexy 3D models.
