The last time I went to a stag party, it was all men. Over on Stagg Street, it's 100% women, and hot, tattooed, gorgeous women at that. Renowned photographer, Ellen Stagg offers us a way into her world of solo girls, babes with tatts, erotic art, glamcore photography and videos, and she also provides us with behind the scenes news and info, vids and pics. It's an exclusive content site that's not hardcore, but which showcases erotic photography and movies.
What you see on the tour at Stagg Street is what you find inside the members' area, at least in terms of look and layout. You can easily find the videos and the galleries, plus a link to a store where you can buy Ellen's photography book by the same title as her site, and there are easy ways to order the content according to year. We'll get back to the technical things in a moment, first though, here's what I found just now when I called in.
To start me off there is a model list in the frame around the main content, and the girls are listed by name. It's a bit of pot luck as to what and who you find when you click a name, but I checked out Anastassia, a blonde, tattooed babe with eight pieces of content to share. What I found on her page seems typical of the work you find here. A mix of photos and video clips, this gorgeous babe poses, strips and poses again in photos that are expertly taken. Ellen Stagg knows what she is doing (there is a Bio page where you can read her history), but her insight is more than technical. She captures her models in seductive, glamorous poses and yet there's a harder edge to them, something urban and gritty.
That may be because many of the girls can appear 'Alt', with their tattoos (there's a big tattoo fetish going on here), and their poses and expressions. There's a great mix of talent here, behind the camera and in front and when the two get together, we get excellent quality photography and images and vids of fit and sensuous women. There's no sex, that's down to your imagination, but there are some shoots where two girls appear together, but it's not even lesbian action, as this is not a hardcore site. But when you do have two gorgeous models together, you get a great sense of what might happen once the cameras are turned off.
There were 945 photo galleries set out with ten sets per page and content is listed with its upload dates. Updates are good, with two or three galleries or videos per week and around 20 pics per set at 720 x 1,080. The quality is perfect, but it would have been good to have more viewing options. You open the pics and view them online where you download one at a time, but there's no zip file for full sets and no hands-free slideshows, for example. There's very little info, but there are great images of course.
There were also 332 videos, most, if not all of which are behind the scenes, chats or interviews. Again, they are presented ten per page, and it's a simple case of clicking the video screen to get to the viewing page. Like other content pages here, these are basic, and the movies are there for streaming only. They are presented in one option, a Flash stream at 600 x 400 and they run for around five to 10 minutes each. Quality is fine, if on the small side, and the content is fascinating. The videos speak for themselves. They must as there are no descriptions to explain who and what, where and so on. However, the benefit of the movies is that you get to know your models more and see them in action and in repose.
When you sign up to Stagg Street (for a very reasonable price), you are paying for the expertise of the geographer and the quality of the models, not so much for the layout of the members' area. It's fine and easy to use, but it does lack certain functions we like to see. Their absence leads you straight to the videos and pics, which are the most important facets of the site, but some other tools would be handy. There's no way to search and sort content apart from the year, or by the model's name, but there is no model index, just a list of names. I didn't find anything interactive like rates, comments or even an add to favourites function, and the site is very short on info apart from Ellen's biography.
However, it is very easy to use, technically fine and poses no problems, except for the index pages. You can't jump ahead more than one page, so if you've made it to age 30 and want to head back to page two, you more or less have to start again. Here's a tip; once past page two, look at the address bar, and you will see the page number; change it to the page number you want, hit return and you should go straight there.
To gain access to this softcore/glamcore heaven will only cost you $15.00 per month which is more than reasonable. There is a four-day trial at $14.95 which recurs at the monthly rate, and the cheapest deal is at $80.00 for six months. That will be worth considering as there are so many updates coming in.
Ellen Stagg is a top glamour photographer with a passion for beautiful girls, babes with tattoos and alternative models who you're going to want to get to know. Despite the basic layout and design of her site, you get straight to the solo and two-girl pose and strip content which is regularly updated. The quality levels are high, but the videos are on the small side and can only be streamed. However, collectors of glam-and-gorgeous are going to want to see what's on offer at Stagg Street.
