It's all about high quality 3D action at Deep Stars 3D, with professional porn stars getting filmed in about as real a set up as you can find on a reality site. You will need the right kind of set up to enjoy the 3D effect here and there is a page telling you exactly what you will need. Check out the 3D Hardware area if you are not sure. You can download 3D Side by Side files, where you wear the glasses, you can connect to your 3D TV if you have one, there are 3D MVC files that are also 2D compatible and well, you need to check the page as I don't completely understand all this as yet. All I know is that I was able to download the files and put on my glasses and I was OK.
Actually, I wasn't that OK. There are excellent quality scenes here, both solo and hardcore, with good looking professional models who know what they are doing. That goes for the guys and the girls, and the crew actually as the films are well shot, lit and the sound is fine. But in a way it is all rather clinical, the sex I mean. You have coupes, say, and they strip down a bit, she blows him, he fucks her, there's your cum shot and away we go. The gimmick here, the thing that makes the scenes different, is the 3D element, so if you only watch in 2D you might as well be watching any porn scene. Don't get me wrong, they are good, they work just fine, but without the 3D you have what Id call straightforward hardcore, and solos with dildos, which are actually pretty horny on their own.
My other problem was the file size. The largest scenes are over 1.5 Gbs in size and there are no clips, so if you are on a slower connection you are going to be waiting ages for your download. The speed was OK for me, but still, that's a pretty big file to take in one go. The movies run for around 20 to 25 minutes, a standard length, and only come with the choice of four files, all full length and full sized.
Mind you, the visual quality is good, especially in 3D where the only thing getting in your way is having to wear the glasses. The scenes are certainly well made and there are great images to go with them as well. In the standard porn way these are posed action shots, so you collect the images at decent sizes that are clear and digital but sometimes with a horny girl smiling at camera while riding a great fat cock. You know the kind of thing.
And my last mumble about the content here was the update schedule. The tour pages, and sign up page, do say regular updates and you can't argue with that; the updates had been regular. But at one per month and for over $30.00 per month (less on a longer-term offer) you are not getting a huge amount of content for your cash. There were only 14 scenes when I called in and the site started out over a year ago. It is kind of plodding along in update terms, giving you good quality scenes but just not very often.
Navigating the site was easy, although the Sign up and Members links stay in the main menu when you are in the members' area. This area looks exactly the same as the tour area, because it is the same as the tour area, so at least you can see what you are getting before you buy in to it. The top menu is bold and stays with you so there is no chance of getting lost, and I found the pages were nicely designed, clear and they all opened nice and easily. I actually had no technical problems at all, apart from the size of files to download.
The images come with the viewing options for the scenes, and you get zip files with images plus simple navigation tools to help you through the galleries. The downloads are all clearly marked and there are links to the 3D Hardware page where you find full instructions and help. There is also a FAQ page that is well thought out and well written.
The model index shows you 13 sets of model pics at the moment and you can reorder the way you see these pages. The girls come with simple links to their videos, and you are able to rate them and leave comments, a function or two which, strangely, is not on the actual viewing pages for videos. But at least you can have your say.
The site is very simple, as you will see from the tour, and there are no nasty surprises There is good hep and technical support, you can use the social network links and functions and get slightly involved. It all works just fine.
Without the 3D gimmick Deep Stars 3D would simply be another, very small, hardcore site. But it does have the 3D and the hot scenes are 2D compatible. On the one hand you have great quality and good porn here but on the other there is not much of it and the update are currently only once per month. Quality is good, but files are big to download, the girls are hot but there's not many of them.
