Lights, camera, action! If you've ever wanted to know what goes into the making of a porn movie, then Vlog XXX is for you. Here, you can watch the magic in the making with a series of behind-the-scenes movies shot on set, and starring some of the industry's top models and directors. Associated with Spizoo, you're guaranteed quality BTS content, regular updates and interviews with the models, but sadly, no bonuses. Movies are downloadable in 4K HD.
Vlog XXX sets out to do two things. To show you how porn is made and bring you closer to the girls who star in the exclusive videos. It's not all interviews and hanging around waiting for the right light, fluffing the boys or watching the girls undress, the scenes contain hardcore too. Among the cast you'll get to meet Kyler Quinn, Chloe Cherry and Jill Kassidy, among many others, and they're starring in videos with a range of hunks in what are mostly hardcore movies.
After some neat credits, the scenes start off with shots of the set, the girls arriving, posing and preparing, and these are interspersed with snippets from interviews. Sometimes the interview is used as a voice-over while she gets ready, but it doesn't interrupt the hardcore action, which is often intense and made more so because, by the time you reach it, you feel like you know the model personally. There are then interesting shots with the porn taking place in the background, and with you looking through the camera lens, and then we're back to the close-ups as we would be in any porn movie.
There are over 30 of these videos now, and updates have been consistent over the past few months. Each one runs for around 20 to 30 minutes and is well edited. The quality is excellent, and there are various viewing choices. You're able to stream movies in four resolutions from 320p up to 1080p, and streaming was smooth with no start-and-stop, and they played with clear sound and visuals. They’re also fine at full screen. Downloads are also available in the same four resolutions, which include 720p and a standard mobile rate at 480p, but they also come with a 4K Ultra HD version at 3,840 x 2,160, and playback is perfect.
Each shoot has a set of images to go with it, and these hold an average of 30 pics per set. You view them via a filmstrip (which seems appropriate as you're watching films where girls strip), and individual shots open up to a good size to fit your screen. From there you can download them at 3,840 x 2,160, so they're probably screenshots from the UHD camera, but that's not a bad thing. Again, the quality is excellent. There's a mix of posed, clothed, stripping and action shots with the focus always being on the girl. A slideshow function is provided, as is a zipped file of each set so you can easily download the gallery in one go.
There are no bonuses attached to Vlog XXX, which is a shame, as there's no other content other than the BTS movies. Some of the girls are sporting t-shirts with Spizoo written on them, which is why I assume the site is associated with them, and if you join Spizoo, you're able to find the movies being filmed at Vlog XXX included in their five-site network.
Now then, the members' area seemed to be having a bit of a meltdown when I visited, although it didn't stop me viewing the content. The top menu is set to take you to the movies, some other BTS action and the model index, but each time I tried, I only got the drop-down menu for the account area. There, I could check my profile, membership and so on, but I couldn't actually find the index pages for the videos. I had to view what I could find on the home page and then navigate by using my back button. I expect this was a temporary glitch, but if you have any trouble, there are links to help, support and the webmaster, so it's easy to report any issues.
Apart from that, you'll find a simple members' area that concentrates on taking you to the content. The model index lists the girls with stats and bios, and is, usually, a good way to navigate. You're also able to search with a search box, but there were no linked tag words with videos. Galleries are easy to browse through, and although the site is keen to sell you some 'deals' to other sites, you can hide the large banner of adverts you see at the top of the pages.
Signing up to Vlog XXX is simple and you have three options. The monthly price currently stands at $14.95 for the first 30 days and then $29.95 after that. The three-monthly one is at $59.95, and the 12-month one is at $60.00. You'll see that they tell you that this membership includes a free month to Perv City, but after that month, the membership recurs at $38.95 every 30 days, so watch out for that.
Vlog XXX takes you behind the scenes during the making of some excellent porn videos, and gives you the chance to meet the models, hear their interviews, learn about them, and then watch them in hardcore movies. The quality is excellent, movies are up to 4K HD and easy to stream or download, and updates have been consistent. It's not a large collection as yet, and there are no extras, but there is a model index with good info, and sign-up prices are reasonable.
