Red is the rarest hair color in the world, and some cultures believe that red heads have special powers and knowledge of mysteries the rest of us will never know. Redheads are known for their exotic looks and fiery attitude in bed, and here at Totally Redhead, you can see tons and tons of sexy red haired honeys in all kinds of videos and photos ranging from softcore to hardcore. Membership includes HD videos, extras like third party streaming videos and even bonus access to eight other sites!
The standard for what exactly constitutes red hair seems pretty loose here at Totally Redhead. When I first entered the members' area, I almost thought I was on the wrong website because so many of the babes seemed to be blondes and brunettes. Many of these apparent blondes and brunettes turned out to have a bit of a reddish tinge to their hair with the right light when I took a closer look, but there's a significant portion of the models here that I simply would not call true redheads. Some even have bright neon pink or crayon red hair, and others appeared to be wearing wigs! This is fine for those into weird hair colors and wigs, but not exactly what I was hoping for here. The action can include solo posing, masturbation, toy play, lesbian fun or hardcore redhead fucking.
The Totally Redhead collection is made of up around 233 videos and over 1500 photo sets. Around 30 of the videos are in the HD section of the site and come at much higher quality levels. I think there's a good chance that these HD flicks are exclusive to the site, but the remainder of the flicks and photos seem non-exclusive to me. Updates are made fairly frequently, but a bit erratically with anyone from one to three new videos or photo sets coming at once. Sometimes this happens daily, other times there are a few days in between. Over 20 third party feeds and eight other network sites can also be accessed from the Totally Redhead members' area.
The HD portion of the Totally Redhead video collection is available at up to 1280x720 pixels, 4200 kbps. These generally look fairly nice, but typically don't offer that flawless perfection I really look for in HD materials. The minor issues I saw include graininess, poor color balance and dim lighting. The non-HD flicks vary even more and are offered in smaller sizes. The apparently non-exclusive photo sets seem to have come from a variety of sources, so the exact size and quality differs from set to set, but everything I saw was at least average looking and worth checking out, even if the babes don't always have red hair.
Totally Redhead kicks things off with a mostly yellowish-beige and red tour complete with large streaming video previews, scene descriptions and info about the included bonus sites, but I thought they could have used more preview scenes. There's also a mention of the HD widescreen videos, but without more specific info, I can easily see how someone would think that the entire collection is HD when in fact that's not the case, and even those videos found in the HD section don't really live up to my expectations of high-def flicks.
The first page you'll encounter once inside displays info about the recent updates, recently viewed redhead porn scenes and top rated materials and also lists your favorites if you've added any. Also on this page are the photo of the day, video of the week and a navigation menu that will take you to the full content listings for Totally Redhead. The choices include softcore pictures, hardcore pictures, high-def movies, full movies, and extra stuff. Just below the menu is a search tool, and just below that, a link to all of the bonus sites. The search feature can be somewhat helpful but since it seems to work based on the small amount of text entered for each scene as a description, it doesn't really seem to return as many results for common terms as it should.
Though the site is lacking a bit in terms of navigation and search tools, at least you have some choice when it comes to viewing the materials. Photos are offered in basic thumbnail galleries or as a ZIP file downloads, and videos come a few different formats for download and streaming. These include full length WMV format files in two quality levels plus additional choices for portable devices for select HD flicks, plus Flash streaming and WMV format streaming, all in full length.
You will definitely see tons of redheaded babes here, but with a name like "Totally Redhead" I wanted a 100% redhead collection. Further, despite the high bitrates and large sizes of some of the vids, they're just not as nice I'd expect HD vids to be, not to mention that only a small fraction of the vids are even available at the highest bitrate, something not indicated on the tour pages. I'd say you need to take a good long look at the bonus package before you spend any dough here!
