It's easy to get to the home page and see what's new, and few adverts get in your way. There is one on your way into the members' area, but a simple click and it's gone. Other adverts are kept to the bottom of the pages.
Since a change in ownership, downloads are now a pay-for extra. The download option will cost you $14.99 per month on top of your membership. Basic membership starts at $17.99 per month (so that would be $32.98 for both), but the annual signup costs only $9.99 per month, paid in one instalment of $119.99. There are two trial options, though both offer only limited access and recur at $39.99 every 30 days. Watch out for a pre-checked add-on of $9.99, which gives you premium membership; it doesn't, though, say what the benefits are.
