X Movie Zone offers a general collection of softcore and hardcore materials featuring both amateurs and pros. This nonexclusive site focuses much more on photo galleries than it does videos although it does offer over 1700 flicks. The tour pages promise daily updates and HD quality videos, but does this site deliver what members want? Let's go inside and get the full scoop!
X Movie Zone is definitely a site that is more about quantity than anything else, and they do a pretty good job on this front with over 1715 videos and nearly 3700 photo galleries. The trouble is that while the collection is quite large, the promised daily updates simply aren't happening here. The dates and materials here indicate that several new additions are made each day, but the collection never seems to get any larger. It's pretty obvious to me that the materials here are rotated rather than updated.
The materials here covered just about everything within the general softcore and hardcore categories. You might not see anything too terribly extreme or any very specific fetishes, but masturbation, lesbian sex, blow jobs, pussy licking, anal, straight fucking, outdoor sex sessions, orgies, threesomes, and so much more are all represented here. The materials probably come from a wide variety of sources including various DVDs and studios, and they range from very amateur in style and fairly low-quality to pretty decent looking professional scenes.
Aside from the large size of the collection, the HD quality level is, at least in theory, the major selling point for X Movie Zone. Unfortunately, only around one 10th of the collection is offered at anything even approaching true HD quality at 1280 x 720 pixels, 4200 kbps. Even these "HD" quality flicks don't always look as nice as you would expect, and the vast majority of the collection here is offered at the low average specs that are more like 640 x 480 pixels, 1400 kbps.
I suppose that there's nothing wrong with putting your best foot forward, but the tour pages for X Movie Zone take this to such an extreme that the tour isn't even really an accurate representation of what you'll find inside. Most of the scenes just don't look as nice as the ones previewed here, and the specific information offered about HD quality videos and daily updates isn't really followed through with once you're inside the members area. I definitely think that the tour here could be more accurate than it is.
The members area here is pretty plain and doesn't really offer enough navigation and search features for a collection this size. There's a basic keyword search box and options to sort the materials in a variety of different ways including by date or number of views, but that's about it. There's really no scene information provided beyond a title, and you can't break the materials down into categories beyond the general softcore and hardcore sections.
The viewing options here at X Movie Zone on one aspect where the site actually does pretty good. Flash streaming is provided and downloads are offered in WMV, MP4, and MPEG formats. Photo sets are offered for viewing in thumbnail galleries or for download in a single PDF document or in a ZIP file.
While the sheer quantity of videos and particularly photos available here at X Movie Zone is pretty tempting, the site falls down in most other areas. I'd like to see a more accurate tour, some actual updates, and a much larger collection of true HD videos in order to line up with the claims being made, and I think there are better sites out there offering large collections of nonexclusive materials like this.
