This is a little unusual, but not a huge problem because for most members the attraction to a site is only viewing the video content on the site. Each scene has a brief description and a detailed window at the top of scene information, like running time and file size of the scene. This site doesnt offer the members livestreaming options direct from the site. Members can use the download option on the scene to select wether they would like to just open the file or download. I recommend that members download the content because the video scenes can be quite lengthy and if members are waiting a long time for the file to download and buffer just to watch it they may as well save it. Its not going to take any extra time or effort to download and save versus just opening the file. The file format used on the site is AVI and the bit rate on my internet connection was 2331 Kbps.
After members log in, they will be directed to a shared members area page. This page displays all of the sites that members get access to when joining the Home Voyeur Video site. If members scroll down the page the display image for the HVV site is on the left hand side, 5 sites down under the Dirty Spank site display image. By simply clicking on the HVV display site image members again be taken to the very first original site page that they saw of the Home Voyeur Video site. This is a little confusing because members have already been to this page and already input the username and password to access to the site. But, if members repeat the process and re enter the details in the members login this time they will be directed to the HVV members area. Be assured that this confusing process doesnt happen every time that members log in, after logging out and returning to the site I was directed straight through to the HVV members area. It might just be an initial set up introduction to the site collection and all it has to offer.
The members area is set out a little differently then most site members area/ Home pages. Members will find the HVV site banner at the top of the page and under this there is a small selection of display images for other sites that members get access to when joining. But in order for members to access the site specific Home Voyeur Video content they will need to select the click here to view our content link just under the site banner in yellow text. By selecting this link members will be directed to a page where they can access the content. The content is displayed in numbered pages which are located at the top of the page for ease of access to members.
The video content on each numbered page has a few display images, a brief scene description and other useful information like an approximate running time and how big each clip size is. I like sites that readily displays this information in conjunction with the video clips because I think that it definitely helps members make viewing decisions without wasting time on the clips/scenes that they normally wouldnt watch. Easier scene selection and knowing upfront how big video files are to download saves time poor members a load of effort. Because the video scene are quite lengthy and because the site doesnt offer split clip options and just the full length video scenes I would definitely recommend members download and save the content when ever possible. Members should be aware of the time delay to download the content and that the site doesnt seem to have readily accessible livestreaming content direct from the site.
