Private, the porn site, has been on the go since 1997, and shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, it gets bigger and better every day with its exclusive movies, models and galleries. Add to that the new 4K HD resolutions, the fact that there are unlimited downloads and the site being fully mobile compatible, and you've got one of the stand-out porn sites of our generation. The members’ area is a simple affair, takes you straight to the excellent porn, and is not expensive to enter.
One membership to Private gets you into the content from 14 sites, including Anal Introductions, Tight and Teen, and Sex on the Beach. There are also six with Private in the title including Private Fetish, Stars, Castings and Classics, and then you have the top site, Russian Teen Ass. Private has embraced HD in a big way. When you come to stream a scene, you will find you have a choice of 720p, 1080p and 4K HD (on the more recent uploads). This might not be such good news if you are on a slow connection, but when you come to download, you can also find a smaller, 360p version which may help, but not a 4K one. The 4K appears to be reserved for streaming only. Some scenes run for up to an hour, so you can expect large files too, but the good thing about Private is that it allows unlimited downloads, unlike many top studios these days.
Each scene comes with a trailer, a description and intro to the cast, a link to its full DVD (if there is one), and links to related scenes. There are also galleries of images to save one at a time or in zip files, and these come down at 1067 x 1600 px, and like the videos, are excellent quality.
Private is mainly about the videos and the stars who appear in them, so you don't find many extras apart from 38 behind-the-scenes videos. However, there is a model index with 2,745 girls to check out, the most popular currently being Alexis Crystal, who appears in a whole raft of movies. You can trawl the index, find the girls you like the look of and then easily click to her videos, which is handy, but there’s no information about them other than what you might find in the video descriptions.
When it comes to navigating and searching this vast collection, Private has come up with some nifty tools. There are the standard ones, like filters, ways to rearrange the content, tags and so on, but there is also the Porn Advisor. This, you find under the Videos drop-down and I've never seen anything like it before. It’s a way of honing down what you like to see, starting with broad categories and then working through more specific headings. For example, Blow Jobs, then hair colour, then boob size, then HD or 4K. Simple but effective. There is also a search box, and you can filter the content by site from the ‘Site’ menu item. Again, it’s all very simple and it all works well. Around these tools are some adverts and they are mainly advertising the free credits you can get when you join the cam site where many of your models make live appearances.
There is a little interaction at this site. You can, for example, give a movie a thumbs up if you like it, and add it to your favourites area, but there are no comments boxes. You can easily find your profile and account details, find customer support and change the text of the site into four other European languages, and that’s about all you will need.
I didn’t see any upload dates with content here, but the site has grown in recent years, and updates are therefore being added. This means an ongoing membership is worth considering and for $12.50 per month, you can sign up for a whole year (in one instalment of $149.95). Or you can opt for the recurring two-monthly membership at $29.95, or the slightly more expensive version of three months at $59.85. There is a trial offer of $1.00 for two days which says it is ‘risk free’, but which will rebill at $34.95 if not cancelled in time, and there is also a cross sale to be aware of when you get to the sign-up form.
Private continues to thrill with its hot and top models, its variety and now its formidable 4K HD movies. With over 7,600 scenes to stream and download, there is plenty to see here, and although there is no definite update promise, new scenes are being added all the time. Steamy, high quality, excellent porn, it’s all wrapped up in a good-looking members’ area that’s easy to browse and not expensive to join. Private is one of European porn’s top brands, and definitely worth a look.
