It's always good to review an adult site that is completely different to the usual adult hardcore sites out there, and that's exactly what Insane 3D is; different. It's a collection of 3D drawings, in sets, that take various themes, from mythology to horror and from celebrates to mutants. You can expect new galleries on a regular basis, great drawings and good quality and all you need to enjoy it is a pair of 3D anaglyph glasses, the kind you can pick up in all kinds of places.
The first thing to note is that there are no movies at this site, it is gallery content only, and when I was there, there were 93 galleries to browse under the All Galleries heading. The price they were asking for this was $31.95 per month, with a slight discount for a three month option. This is totally original work, and as far as I know, exclusive too, so that would justify the rather high signup price for what is essentially a toon site, though one with a 3D twist.
Once inside you find the latest updates on the home page and a wide top menu which will show you the various categories. The upload dates are shown with content and there was something new being added every few days. This will make the site grow nicely, as long as the update rate is kept up, and that will, before long, more justify the membership cost. There is news at the top of the home page and this also tells you some places where you can get your 3D glasses. I have to say, I was able to view some content fine without glasses though you do get the red/cyan lines around things, and there were plenty of galleries that were computer 3D as opposed to anaglyph 3D.
Your category headings include a section of the 3D toons where you will need to wear your glasses, and an icon shows up in these cases. There were 20 such galleries here, the rest of the 93 were non-anaglyph 3D, which is not exactly the same thing. The other categories included: BDSM, Furry, Movies (galleries based on well-known movies) and Shemales. Some sets appear in more than one gallery which makes you wonder why they have Fantasy when all of these sets are some kind of fantasy, but finding your way around the various areas is easy and there is plenty to see, with each gallery holding around 30 images each.
Each one comes with a description as an intro and easy navigation. Pics were at sizes around 1,600 px, and they fitted on the screen just fine. The quality is excellent and there are some good drawings/images here. There is plenty of sex taking place as well with all kinds of wired creatures and all kinds of sexy girls with shemales and men, of sorts, in all kinds of strange adventures. For a cartoon site, it does really well and although not everything is what I'd call true 3D (it's computer generated and you don't need glasses for all of it) it is great quality and fun to see.
Getting around the site is easy enough, the top menu stays with you and takes you to the various categories, or you can opt to see all the galleries in one place, spread over index pages. The sample shots are nice and big, there are good descriptions and you can see upload dates as well. There are also linked category words with galleries for easier filtering.
Open a gallery and you find you can rate it and add it to your favourites collection. Scroll down the page and there is also a place to post comments, so you can get slightly interactive with your site. As you open images you find that you can rate them individually and there are simple forward and back buttons to help you navigate through. When done click the Back link and you get back to the gallery main page. I didn't see slideshows but there are zip file downloads for full sets.
And that's about it for technical things: easy to manage, easy to navigate, simple and basic interactive options, no technical problems, you will need glasses for some of the galleries, you have a personal favourites collection and you can, if you want, upload your own images; there's a members' pics area with, currently, seven images in it.
Insane 3D is a relatively new site and a specialist one. It is a mix of anaglyph (glasses) 3D work and other 3D imagery, and there are new galleries being posted pretty regularly. The price is pretty high for a new and small site, but it is growing and it is, as far as I know, exclusive. It is also very good quality and brings you some very sexy and imaginative fantasy content that will suit everyone into the fantasy sex genre. You can get interactive too.
