Briana Banks hit the porn scene in 1999, and she's been getting you off ever since. Her official website offers videos and photos of the busty star, and since it's part of the Club Jenna network, you also get some nice bonuses thrown in. The site doesn't appear to offer much, if any, exclusive material which makes me a bit wary from the get-go. Briana is an extremely popular pornstar, so let's get inside the members' area and find out if this one does her justice!
As I browsed through the official Briana Banks collection, I found myself wondering over and over if I had missed something. There's an OK number of photo galleries at around 112, but the video section is tiny at just 22 scenes. On top of that, much of the video and photo materials here aren't really porn, but rather behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. This is exactly the kind of thing I like to see on official pornstar sites, but there needs to be a lot more actual smut as well. Briana has starred in hundreds of scenes and there's just not enough of them available here. Updates are coming about once per week which is better than nothing, but I would definitely like to see faster growth and some exclusive materials.
The official Briana Banks website is also short on interactive features, and by "short" I mean that there aren't any at all. The large "live chat" button above the video and photo galleries leads to a generic live cam chat page with lots of models, but there's no information about live cam shows starring Briana. There's also no journal, message board, or e-mail address to contact Briana. An official pornstar site should offer features above and beyond what you can get on the average porn site, and this one just isn't doing a very good job of that.
The flicks I downloaded here typically came at around 640 x 480 pixels and had bitrates of between 2000 and 4000 kbps. Some look OK, but others don't look so hot. Issues with graininess and incorrect color balance are noticeable. The quality of the photos seems to be a bit more consistent, and these display at 1280 pixels on the long side.
The tour pages for the Briana Banks official website have a way of making this collection seem much more appealing than it is. They don't tell you much about what you'll find inside the site in terms of specific information, instead preferring to stick to general Statements like "thousands of XXX materials" and "hot XXX cam shows." They claim to offer the largest Briana Banks collection anywhere, and even that claim seems laughable.
The members' area seems much more busy and crowded than it should for a site this size. There are often several link and buttons to click on take you to the same materials, and I sometimes found myself feeling like I was going in circles. There is at least an easy-to-use keyword search box, and I had good luck when searching for basic terms. There are quite a few additional ways to navigate the included Club Jenna network.
Each of the videos here is available to stream in Flash format, and you can download them in your choice of WMV or MP4 format and full-length files. One minute clips are available, but only in MPEG format. A variable speed slideshow feature is offered for viewing the photo sets, and you can also simply opt to view them in thumbnail galleries or download them in ZIP files.
There's an OK amount of Briana Banks photo materials here, but the small amount hardcore scenes and some interviews just doesn't feel like enough video material for an official site. When you add in the complete lack of all interactive features, I'm left wondering what the point is. This small site might be alright to check out as part of the Club Jenna collection if you are already interested in joining up, but I don't think it will live up to most Briana Banks fans' expectations.
