Famous Black Boys is a site that has a tour where you are shown various pics of well-known celebrates, actors and so on. You then got to the sign up page and see that you are buying into the Boyfriend Pass Network and there are other celebrities to be seen inside. Then you sign up and log in and find you've got access to a round 20 BF sites, plus some extras. Lots of movies, much amateur content and plenty to see. But black guys who are famous? Er, where?
I started off at a home page I had been to several times before because I had looked at other sites in this network. It comes with a tab where you can click to see photos from the tour; but these were not photos from the tour. Ok, so I tried the drop down list of sites at the top of the page and no, no Famous Black Boys in the list. So I tried the category list and here was celebrity so I clicked that. And got one image of one white guy, ditto the other option, celebrities in the same list. Other celebrity options in this list brought absolutely nothing and by now I was getting really confused. So I went back to the sites list and found Black Twinks BF and Gangsta BFs, which we have reviewed elsewhere, and concluded that the content promised on the your was not in here at all, at least if it was it was not very easy to find.
So, you've got a couple of sites within sites to view if you're after ebony guys. But if you want to see famous ebony celebs then go and look somewhere else. If you want all kinds of content then this site is probably going to be fine for you as it's a big and varied mix of all kinds of everything.
I mean, there are hundreds of short clips and some longer scenes, there are amateur guys showing their home videos and photos, there are some clips and movies from studios and other websites, and there are galleries with, often, good quality images. But this is not a celebrity site like you see where they give you news and gossip and updates. In fact the members' area bears no resemblance to the tour at all.
But I will press on, just in case there was some strange technical glitch when I was in the site. You can view all the available movies by using the link in the top menu, or you can browse site by site. Scenes are shown with sample pics that you click in order to get to the main viewing page. Here I found downloads in WMV, Mp4, Mpg and a streaming version, and there are sometimes other file types to take as well. There is only one size of stream but it worked fine for me and was a good, middle of the road, resolution though quality varied per clip. Some movies ran for under a minute, other like the home-made clips were around three minutes, while others were longer, up to 20 or so. It's a real mixed bag of content with younger guys, Asians, older men, bears, leather guys, some kinky stuff, interracial, frat boys and so on.
Some movies have galleries and some of these are good quality with pics up at 479 x 621, by way of an example. They open one at a time but have good navigation buttons. Galleries hold different numbers of images each, and not every video has pictures with it and galleries do not get their own area on the site.
So, no Famous Black Boys that I could see, but with thousands of varied clips and scenes from all over the web, there may well be some guys in here you recognise.
It is a plus point that this site and the network is very easy to navigate. You have a drop-down list of sites and categories to use, and this stays with you at the top of the page. There is also a top menu there to take you to the full collection of scenes and some bonus DVDs (which is the Pride Mov theatre in a new window). You have 16 sample clips per page and the index page numbers are along the bottom so you can easily click through one to the next. These samples also provide you with upload dates and titles, and the whole lot can be sorted by date, name or popularity.
As a member you get to vote on the content and say what you think of it with a voting system, I didn't see any comments facility though. There isn't a great deal of interactivity here, or information. You may get a little note about scenes, and the runtimes, linked category words to help you find other similar scenes, but that's about it.
The design is ok, nothing special; there's a top slider to help you select your next site and you can read all the texts. There were some missing images and sample pics, and there are links to help and support. But that's about it for extras.
If Id signed up for just under $30 for a month in order to see the guys advertised on the tour, and then not found them inside, I would be furious. Which is why I wanted to point out to you that what you find inside Famous Black Boys is not what is promised on the tour, at all. Watch out. And watch out for the pre-checked cross sale on the sign up pages or you will get another $39.95 added to your bill if you don't cancel within one day. Not impressed with the advertising of this site.
