Men at Play has grown dramatically over the years with six updates per month adding to its collection of hot videos and photo galleries. It’s kept to its core niche of presenting fit and hench guys in suits, with manly office sex, hirsute businessmen, muscular professionals, and a range of scenarios for its full-on hardcore. It now hosts over 1,200 scenes, and over 900 photos, and there are 440 + models to savour.
The membership to Men at Play includes some BTS scenes and bonus videos, and there are various ways to sign up: streaming only, streaming with downloads, or you can use the on-demand service. For the purpose of this review, I’m using the streaming/downloading option.
Men at Play started up twenty years ago and quickly built a powerful and respected reputation. It was a time when all gay sites, it seemed, had to be either twinks or muscle studs, and there was no in between. Reality was taking over, so there were a lot of amateurs on the scene, and there was a distinct lack of professional guys, businessmen, lawyers, stories about studs in suits and so on. That’s where Men at Play came in and took over. Now, it has grown to house 1,253 videos with six new ones each month.
The stars of the videos are the guys, of course, but you can’t help but also admire their outfits. These are the confident, masculine, bearded and fit daddies you see coming in and out of lawyers’ offices, or banks, the Stock Exchange or speaking at conferences, and they all look mighty fine in their welp-cut whistles. (Whistle and flute is suit in Cockney rhyming slang.) However, when the Armani and Dior come off, what lies beneath is even smarter. The guys are hunks of all ages, from some in their 20s upwards, but they are all easy on the eye, powerful in build, confident, cut or uncut, defined and excellent at their jobs. Jobs that include sucking, rimming and fucking each other bareback.
There are setups to stories with each video. For example, you might find a couple of guys at a hotel, they chat, meet up and discuss business, and then the sex develops from there. You will find classic locker room scenes, threesomes, group sex, outdoor sex, sex by the pool, and even flight crews getting it on. What stands out, apart from the porn, is the filming quality and the production values which are high. If you want to see how much attention Men at Play pays to detail, then you only need to look at the model index where each of the 443 guys comes with bio and stats, and links to their videos.
The scenes tend to run for between 30 and 50 minutes, they come with a trailer and a description and, depending on your membership, you can stream and download them. In either case, you have a few resolutions to choose from. The top res here is 1080p HD, followed by 720p, and 480p, and there are also movies at 360p. The sites is mobile compatible, and the files are Mp4 format. As far as I could see, there are no restrictions on downloads.
Some movies also come with images, and there is a separate area for all 962 photosets. Here, you have a good collection of posed and action shots that you can download one at a time. They are 2,160 x 3,132 px in size, you have up to 30 per set, the quality is perfect, and you can take each set in a zip file. As for extra content, Men at Play offers you 230 behind the scenes movies and clips to view, and there is a Bonus area that holds 37 more movies. These are partner videos from Raging Stallion, and the makeup of the cast is similar in that these are hench and hunk movies. Actually, they’re a good way to get a glimpse of the work of the partner site, which you might also want to join.
The last time we reviewed Men at Play, we noted how good the navigation system was, and it remains so. When on the index pages, you find a set of filters with plenty of headings to filter the movies by, and here is also a category page that does the same job, plus linked tag words on video viewing pages. So, there are plenty of ways to find exactly what you want. Some of the categories must surely be unique to the site: Suit Bukkake, Office sex with Boss, Male escorts, OTC Socks, and Suit Sex, for example. There are also ways to see the index pages listed by popularity and what’s being featured, and there is a page to show you what is coming next and when.
The viewing pages also give you some linked tag words and suggestions for what to view next, and there is some interactivity. You can rate each scene, give it a like, add it to a favourites area, report it, and leave behind comments. Another feature of the site is the ‘dark mode’ viewing option, which basically turns the white space to black to lend more of an atmosphere. The video player lets you go full screen too, so you can really get into cinema mode. I found no technical issues, but there are links to a support team if you need them.
As for the costs, that depends on the membership. There is a streaming-only option at $10.00 per month, and a monthly stream and download option at $34.99. A yearly all-access membership comes in at $149.95 (equivalent to $12.49 a month), and there is a one-month non-recurring streaming-only offer at $29.95. If you want to take the two-day trial, it will cost only $2.95 and recur at $11.99 per month but is streaming only. Watch out for a cross sale on the details form.
Men at Play remains the best place to come for suited hunks and young bucks in exclusive hardcore scenarios that are raw, masculine and all about the men. The videos are top quality and up to 1080p HD, there are various membership options, and there are regular updates. There are plenty of hunky daddies and their juniors to play with, and everything is easy to use with good navigation and filtering tools.
