When you want heavy guys, bears, tough men and raw, bareback sex, then you need to come to Hairy and Raw. Here you have just that combination in a site that provides you with exclusive content, hardcore scenes, action and solo galleries and some feed sites as extras. The members' area is easy to use and interactive in that you can make comments, rate things and you have a favourites function, but the videos here are stream only and there is no downloading.
A quick content count to get us started finds: 43 videos, 38 action galleries, 117 models and solo galleries and six feed site links. You are able to easily find the content from the top menu which lists things out neatly and which also features a search box should you need it. The home page brings you news of the most recent updates to both videos and galleries, though to find out exactly what is new you will need to go to the video or images area. That's because the home page only holds a few updates, and the galleries had many more recently added sets than appear there. In the month before my visit there had been two new videos, but loads new solo galleries and you get many more pics than you do videos here.
The site has been running for just over a year, at least the first gallery was added 15 months ago as I write this, which works out at about two new galleries every week, and just under three videos a month, so all in all, not a bad update schedule.
Talking of galleries, you find each one from the pages of sample pics and these are shown with names/titles and date added. You've got the choice of action pics and model pics in the menu and these model galleries are the same as you find in the model index. The thumbnail pages show good size thumbnails that then lead to images at 414 x 621, scaled down from larger originals so that they fit on the screen. They also open in new windows one by one and that's how you have to navigate them, though there are zip files for downloading full sets.
The exclusive videos are stream only which is a bit of a shame, so you are going to need to stay as a member in order to watch them over again. The screen size was around 300 x 600 and the quality was fine at full screen, though the faster your connection the better as there was some start and stop on my mid-range set-up.
The action centres on hard and hairy, big and chubby bears and their admirers. There are plenty of hunky guys in leather caps but not those kinds of guys who have a porn star look; these men come across as amateur, ordinary guys. There are scenes that are set in clubs and you get the impression that these are not studio sets, but real places, with real guys having real sex. There are group scenes and interracial bear action as well, which you don't see very often. Most of the guys are hung and heavy, and the anal action stays with the raw theme. Movies run for around 15 to 20 minutes.
So, to sum up the content: there is a reasonable amount, with more picture galleries than videos, the movies are stream only, the quality is fine and the updates happen at around two galleries per week and three videos per month; and it is all about bears and hairy guys.
Like I said, navigation is not a problem here. The top menu makes it obvious as to where to find everything you need and the pages opened up nice and fast for me. I found it easy to locate the index page numbers and move forward through the collections that way, and there is a help page you can use if you have any problems or questions. If you check out that page you will find that it is not only helpful and very comprehensive, but it also holds a link to a newsletter option so that's the place to head to if you want to find out more about whats going on with your site.
As you browse the content you find that you are able to give each thing a rate and that you can also comments on what you see. There is an add to favourites function as well and all these interactive things apply to the videos, galleries and models. There is not a lot of info about the guys, hardly any in fact, though galleries and videos do get a short write-up.
And the members' area also features a link over to an adult store, a page of links to other similar sites (pay to join), and six feed sites from some of the top names like Hot Desert Knights and Falcon, studios that have plenty of bear action to offer you.
Hairy And Raw is not yet the largest rubber-free bear site around, but it is slowly growing and steadily adding new videos. It does though have plenty of galleries and loads of really horny guys to get off with and you do well for images here. It would be good to have more information about the men, and the videos, and to have download options as well as the streams. The quality is fine, you get a good deal and it's a horny place to hang out.
