If you go down to the woods today, you will find more bears to play with than ever before. Things have changed greatly at Hairy and Raw since our last visit, and the site is now packed with bear movies from Bear Films. It’s all about the fur, the stocky bodies, the manliness and the rampant older, hairy-man bear cocks at this bareback site. The content is no longer exclusive but comes from a few Bear Films sites, and there’s a new 1080p HD video to stream or download each week.
When we were last at Hairy and Raw, we reported on the content count first, and here’s a quick catch-up on what you can now find compared to back then. There are now 363 videos, where before there were 43, so that’s a huge leap. There were also 38 galleries, and we now have one per film, so 363 again, and now, instead of 117 models, there are 410. Why the big change? Well, it seems that at the start, Hairy and Raw were putting out their own movies as a junior company of Bear Films. Now, however, the content comes from Bareback my Hole, Bear Films and there are still the original Hairy and Raw movies in there. There may also be others from similar sounding sites, but you won’t know until you run a scene, as there is no way to separate them.
However, what you have are 363 movies where the stars are mostly big and hairy. I mean fit and hairy, and sturdy, lumberjack type bears who wear plaid and have bushy moustaches, face fur, muscles and who are often hairy all over. If you love the sight of a hairy hole being rimmed and rammed, then here you go. If you like the occasional otter being shown how to treat daddy bear, or a daddy bear battering an otter’s ass, then here you go. If you’re drawn to barback, you're right in here, likewise if you like genuine, hunky hairy bears who get straight down to the sex with no messing about. There are a few non-bear films where the guys are amateur-looking and ordinary guys, such as Drew Dixon and Rico Fatale, but there is still a light smattering of chest hair there, so it’s allowed.
If you’re drawn to your movies by who’s in them, you can check out the 410 men in the model index. You can see them in alphabetical order or by who is newest, and you’ll find each one has a face pic. From these, you can find guys with full beards, grey beards, no beards, but a tache, and guys who are generally around 30 to 50, I’d say. (And I have to guess because there is no information with any of them.) Also in the mix are ginger guys, bald guys, cut cock, uncut cocks, guys with piercings and tattoos, and guys who favour the leather scene, though these aren’t fetish movies, simply bear movies.
The next thing to note is that you can stream and download each one without restrictions. The only restriction is on your viewing options, because there aren’t any. Your movies are shown and downloaded in 1080p HD, and that’s it. They run for 15 to 30 minutes, you can jump forward and back, pause, go full screen, the sound is natural, and the action usually starts straight away. The quality is that of a released DVD, so there are no complaints there, and downloading was smooth, with files being in Mp4 format.
Each one comes with a set of images, and you find these from the viewing pages, as there is no central Pictures area. There seems to be no set number for each gallery either, though between 24 and 60 would be an average. Each pic can be taken separately, or you can download them in a zip file. Images come out at 1,441 x 1,920 px in size, and are also good quality. The only downer about the content is that if you have joined Bear Films, Bareback that Hole, and maybe Breed me Raw, you will have seen these videos before.
Hairy and Raw now has a much simpler design than it did before, and I’m not altogether sure that’s a good thing. You will find a home page with the latest movies advertised, and then a menu with simple links. Up there, you find the Videos, Tags, Models, Discounts, Favourites, and a thing called AI Fantasies. This has nothing to do with the site and is an advert for another membership site. As are the discounts, with a link leading to a discount porn access site that might be of interest. The Tags page gives you 24 category headings to play with, and these are just about your only filters. There are no ways to rearrange the content, and you can only view the model index by date added and alphabetically, so search and sort options are certainly lacking. On the other hand, the members’ area is easy to get around and browse, and there are some more tag words with videos.
Videos come with descriptions, and there are a few basic viewing tools, as we’ve seen, but members can also rate scenes, add them to that Favourites area, and leave comments. You are told when the scene was added, and there are links to each model, and that’s it for the viewing pages. The galleries are even more simple, but there is no slideshow function. However, everything works fine, and you won’t find any technical issues.
The price of entry hasn’t changed over the years. A monthly recurring membership to Hairy and Raw still costs $29.95 despite the large increase in content, so that’s good news. Better news is the annual membership which works out at $7.23 a month, paid in one instalment of $87.95. There is also a one-month, non-recurring membership for $49.95 if you want to go that way. Whichever way you go, be careful of the two pre-selected cross sales on the payment form, and uncheck them.
Hairy and Raw has grown in its content count because it now no longer shows only its own movies. They remain hairy bear hardcore movies, and most, if not all are bareback, and there is a new one every week. However, there are few navigation tools, and the site is very simple. That makes it easy to find the collection of 1080p streams and downloads, though, and the basic tools are all you need. With content from Bear Films and others, you now have a heap of horny bears to feast your eyes on.
