Reality Dudes has changed since we last saw it, and now houses 404 movies from three sites, Reality Dudes itself, plus Str8 Chaser, and Dick Dorm. The movies, as you’d expect, are reality-style duos and group scenes, there are three themes running, now, and no longer six sites. However, what’s here is good quality, good fun and full of hunky jocks, cute twinks, and straight guys going gay for pay. Updates continue to come in, and the membership price has been reduced.
Once upon a time… Reality Dudes used to feature six sites under its umbrella, but these days, things have changed. What you have are three sites in one place, and although the Sites section of the members’ area lists them as Reality Dudes, Str8 Chaser, and Dick Dorm, they are all now held under one Videos heading, where you find 404 scenes. You can no longer filter them by site, but their content remains unique to each title.
Dick Dorm, until it became part of this one collection, used to concern amateur jocks at college fooling around for the cam and earning money from making amateur porn. That content is still there (though without each scene being marked as, say, ‘From Dick Dorm’), movies are only shown with a sample shot and a title. This means it’s up to you to decide which site each scene is from. Head back in the video index and you will see shots that are unmistakenly Dick Dorm, with guys banging in dorms and cluttered bedrooms, playing daft games in the common room, and generally being hunky and hung in reality movies set around the college dorms.
Str8 Chaser movies are easier to identify because they have titles such as ‘Str8 Chaser – Marcus’ or another name. Here, a roving camera guy goes out and about, chats up suitable guys, and gets them to have sex with him in public places, later moving to a more private location; sometimes a car, other times, a public restroom or a hotel. These are raw, off-the-cuff movies that work the reality theme well. Then, the actual Reality Dudes movies, which are the majority of the newer ones, often have themes, such as the ‘Dudes in Public’ collection where the amateur (and pro) guys are fucking outdoors.
There is no model index here, only the Videos, and the rest of the menu items relate to adverts for chat and cam sites. That is, apart from the library where you can pay to add more sites, and the Sites page, that simply shows you the banners for your three included sites. You might, though, recognise some names, because Reality Dudes features professional models as well as newbies. They’ve recently released a scene starring William Seed, for example, a giant of the Men.com world (and others). In the Chaser movies, you will find pure amateurs making their first porn, and they are clearly chosen for their looks, hung cut/uncut cocks, and their fit bodies, though there remains a good sense of ‘amateur’ about them.
Movies are easy to view. You select one from the index pages and open its own page. Here, you discover that not only are there now fewer movies, but also, you can only stream them without paying an extra $29.99 per month. However, you can stream them in a variety of resolutions to suit everyone, from 320p, up to 1080p HD, with 720p and 480p also as options. The quality is good, there’s still a nice, relaxed and reality feel to the movies, and they each run for a decent length of time. The pleasure comes from discovering new guys to watch, and from the action which is always hardcore, after the BJs and rimming, and which is mainly bareback. There are no complaints about the quality of anything, although your viewing is limited to streaming only 404 scenes, and their galleries. These hold various numbers of images each, but not that many. Image sizes vary according to the age of the shoot, from 800 x 536 px in older content to 1,422 x 800 px with newer images.
It looks like it’s only Str8 Chaser and Reality Dudes that carry updates now, but these continue to come in, if not religiously every week.
Navigation is simple because the site is simple. You have the Videos link for the index pages, where you can only jump ahead a few pages at a time, but where the sample shots are clear, as are the titles. To find the upload date and other info, you need to head to each scene’s viewing page, and there, you also find the link to the gallery. Then, you have the Library drop-down which shows you some of the sites you can opt to add to your membership for a fee. The Sites page only shows you the three sites you can access, plus some adverts (many pages carry side banners and adverts), and the other menu items are for cams, dating etc/. An account area keeps you informed about your membership status.
Meanwhile, on the viewing page, you can add each scene to a favourites area and give them a like/dislike, or set them aside to watch later. There are links to each model’s video list, but no actual model index with stats and details. If you want to save the images, you have to save them one at a time because, without the upgrade, you can't download the full-set zip file.
As you can see, Reality Dudes is now smaller and more limited than it was before, but then, the price has been reduced, and you do have a good stock of exclusive movies to get off with. A month’s membership now costs $17.99, and the annual one costs $99.99 which equates to only $8.33 per month. There are two trial periods to consider, a two-day membership at $1.00 which recurs at $29.99 per month, and a week-long trial at $7.00 which recurs at $17.99. Payment is by credit card only, and watch out for a pre-selected additional sign-up on the payment page.
The reality is, Reality Dudes has had some changes, taken off some 500 or so movies, leaving over 400, and now focuses on a combination of three amateur/pro model sites with a reality theme to each video. This is true reality, not scripted. The guys are a mix of twinks to hunks, with professional studs alongside amateurs. It's high-quality stuff, and there is more to come in the future, but meanwhile, the prices have been reduced and the membership to the special collection is on special offer.
