Austin Wilde presents us with Guys In Sweatpants, the site he set up after he finished his contract with Next Door Studios. You may have met Austin before, but you won't have met all of these other guys, pornstars and newbies alike. Austin gets them over to his place, sometimes appears in the movies with them, otherwise directs, and we get over 230 exclusive new scenes with some hot guys aged 18 to 30s, in HD, that can be downloaded and streamed. There are also images, a model index and a blog.
Everything you find at Guys In Sweatpants is exclusive to the site. Some of the videos are live recordings, or at least, they are titled 'Live', and they are still in HD. Some are introduced by Austin chatting to the newbie models, or an old friend from the porn biz before the action starts. The action is then varied. You have some standard duo scenes and some foursomes, there are threesomes too, and plenty of bareback fucking takes place in every one (that I saw, and I'm sure it's the same for the others).
The models are a hot bunch. As well as finding Austin Wilde in several videos, you'll also find other names you might recognise: JD Phoenix, Rod Daily, Colt Rivers and Darius Ferdynand, for example, can all be found in the 162-strong model index. This is a great place to check out who's appearing because you're given not only full body shots (some nude) but also a written introduction from each of the guys and links across to their videos. It's a good way to get to know them, but it's also a good way to select videos by who turns you on the most.
The guys are a mix of body types, with white, black and Latino guys, mainly from the USA. They tend to be fit and slim, or muscled but not over the top. Some are inked, others completely smooth, there are gym guys, cut guys, uncut guys, cute twink-like jocks and older beefier men, some with hairy chests and asses, some are shaved. Oh yes, and you do get to see them in their sweatpants with those tempting and tantalising bulges on show before they strip off and get down to the really good stuff.
As for viewing, well, it's a bit limited, but it is HD and in Mp4. I found one download per scene at 1,920 x 1,080 HD and some at 1,280 x 720. There is also only one option for streaming, and that's at a standard 960 x 540. I didn't have any hassles with this setup, but if you are on a slow connection or a mobile, you might hanker for a smaller file. Be patient as it's worth the wait. A standard 20-minute movie works out around 1 Gb so you can judge how long a download might take. Streams I found ran smoothly and gave me no hassles. The quality of the content is great, you can tell Austin knows what he is doing from his previous porn work, the chemistry is there, and the guys are naturally at their ease. As the members' area says, it's Real. Gay. Sex. There's nothing 'studio' about it, it's homely and easy, and that really heightens the chemistry between the models.
Along with your 233 videos you find 233 galleries and the same amount of screen caps (roughly, not every scene has them). The digital images came down at 1,096 x 1,600 px and looked fine, with action and posed shots, and easy navigation online. The screencaps were at 1,920 x 1,080 and slideshows were available, but no zip files. There are around 70 to 100 pics per digital set, and all images are found on the same page as their video, so that's nice and easy.
Updates to the site don't always follow a regular pattern, but they are happening, and the site has grown by around 40 videos over this last year. The blog is also available within the members' area though this seems to be updated only once or twice per month. It's a good way of seeing what's coming soon.
I had no trouble with navigation, and neither will you, but here's a tip: If you go through the model index, right click on the guys you like the look of and open their pages in another tab to come back to later. That's what I do. It's a way of building up a stock of things to check out without getting lost on the one long model index page. You can do the same with videos which are also shown on one long page. You find both from the nifty side menu, and the Videos, Models and Blog are the only links you'll need unless you want to check out the 3rd party Cams or contact the site where you can apply to be a model.
Everything at Guys In Sweatpants is high quality, including the technical design, so it looks good and works well, but it's also pretty simple - which is effective. You're not able to rate scenes, leave comments or add them to a favourites area in the standard way, but as long as you're okay without those things, and happy with a straightforward members' area that works perfectly without then, you'll be fine.
As for the pricing, the site is currently set at $24.95 for 30 days (recurring) which is spot on if you ask me. Over 230 exclusive scenes with some top porn boys and some very sexy newbies, for under $25.00 per month is a great price. You also have a non-recurring option which is slightly more costly; watch out for a cross sale on the join page.
I loved Austin Wilde in his Next Door sites and his own site from that network, but I love him more at his own members' area, Guys In Sweatpants. He's got a big throbbing thing for the same kind of guys as me: hot, cute, new to porn, hung, smooth, fit and a little bit alternative, not your classic porn-hunks, but totally sexy amateurs, and a few other pornstars.
