We'd not seen the site for a while, so I went back to check it out and see how it was doing. I was very impressed. Over in the photos area, you find 97 image sets, some solos, some couples, many with varied settings, great focus and lighting and they give you some very dreamy images to collect. These, the recent ones, were at 1,000 x 1,500 px in size, there are between 10 and 50 + per set, simple online viewing and zip files for full sets, and older images are screencaps at 480 x 360. As well as this photo area, you find images with each video on the viewing page where I did find slideshow functions, and images at the same sizes; mainly the larger size. The galleries include posed shots as well as action ones.
And as for the other sites I mentioned You will find access to Spank This with 3,300 movies and also 8Teenboy with 872. Bear in mind, though, that some of this content is also included in the 3,704 content count of your main videos area, and when a movie comes from one of those sites, you're told that on the index page where you also see the scene's star rating as given by members. Check the Movies link in your menu for 360 DVD titles from which many of your scenes come, and there's a link to a blog you can follow for Helix Studios updates and news.
I had one problem with the site, which may have been something to do with my reviewer's membership. When I found a movie from the model index, I was bumped out to the tour or trial area where I had to log in again. The trial offer limits you to streaming, and maybe that was why, but I also found that I couldn't download some videos as the file was 'too large', and it wasn't. Or at least, it shouldn't have been. If you have any problems like this, there's a link to help and support so you can follow it up. You might also have to log into the other two sites when you go to them, so get your streams, so remember your username and password for ease of access.
Otherwise, I had no hassles at Helix Studios. Their interface is the same as when we last saw it and comes with all the good and standard functions we like to see. You can add to favourites and rate content. The top menu comes with a search box, and the videos page comes with a long list of category filters, and one for studios. Investigating this, I found contributions from Dominic Ford, French Twinks and Puppy Productions, along with others. Well, I should have done. Although I found some Raw Lads videos here, French Twinks and others led to an empty page, so perhaps that function is set up for the future?
Okay, so we have an excellent site, but you need the right membership in order to stream and download everything, and the trial at $2.95 only lets you stream.
