We all like to see real amateur guys posing for the cameras, and we really like to see home clips and pics, knowing that these guys are not models or stars. That's what Ripped BFs offers us, content taken, they say, from social networking sites, tube sites and the like, and then placed in a members area that comes with access to all kinds of other similar content. There's not a lot of it here as yet, the site seems quite new, but there are ripped and muscled guys posing in vids and pics.
Actually there are only 27 video clips and 16 galleries at the moment and there is no news inside the members area as to when or if anything new is going to be added. Were told that there are multiple updates weekly to the sites, so lets hope that promise is kept.
You will find a set of areas to view, though they are advertised as bonus sites they are really just other categories of similar content. You find your ripped guys from this set of sample pics at the top of the home page and the content appears further down the page, spread across index pages. You then see large sample pics, with changing images if you hold your mouse over, and these, in turn lead to the videos or galleries.
The videos are clips, sometimes quite short and they stream in nice and fast due to the fact that the files are quite small and the quality not great. It's good enough though, and it's what you expect to find with this self-submit style content. You can view screen caps from the videos too, and as for actually watching or downloading the movies, you get a choice of three or more kinds of players, so there are no problems there. You'll find semi-naked guys, not much cock on show, but plenty of abs and chests and all that jazz, and you'll also find that this does have the appearance of movies that have been home-shot. Cute guys, nice bods, just not very many of them.
The galleries contain 30 pics each and these show you more nudity and sexy guys with muscles. The sizes are fine, the quality is surprisingly good, even those pics obviously taken on a mobile phone in a bathroom. But you don't know who these guys are, where the pics or vids have come from and there is no information about when they were added. In that respect Ripped BFs is slightly lacking.
Then, once you've seen this muscle content, and it wont take you very long to flick through it all, you can go and look at young Asian guys, naughty athletes, sexy black guys and more self-submit amateur content in those bonus areas; there is also a set of video and DVDs to browse through, so you've got a decent amount of real amateur content and many studio produced scenes, mainly featuring twinks, to view in your overall content count.
Navigation is not a problem here, you have a top menu which will take you back to the home page and the set of samples for the various areas, you've got numbered index pages and all these opened up quickly and well. There are also links to the DVD scenes and to an up-sell chat and cam site. You shouldn't have any trouble finding the links you need. Having said that I didn't have any luck with the submit process, in fact I didn't see a link, though I am sure I have seen one on pages from the other sites so look out for it. There are links to customer care though so you could probably enquire that way. And, if you find your own content here but you didn't know it had been used, you can click an email link and ask to have it removed.
Id liked to have seen more information. If the site is going out and taking self-submit photos from the hundreds of exhibitionist sites out there you'd have thought they would have gleaned some information; where the guys were from, where the pics and vids were taken from and so on. And although I now notice that there is a message saying that ten new vids or pics will be posted daily, I didn't see any upload dates and there is no schedule telling you which areas of the network these new things may be added to.
But hey, you've got an add to favourites function (which doesn't actually produce a favourites area so I don't know where my favourites ended up), and you've got good viewing options with good file choices, you can rate content and you've got tags to help you find similar scenes and pics. Gallery navigation is easy and you have a neat Flash viewer in which to look at your pictures.
The design is simple, it's white and basic looking and it looks nothing like the tour, but everything works and you should have no technical trouble with this members area.
If you were paying only for Ripped BFs then you might feel ripped off with its limited collection, but you do get to access ten other self-submit style areas, plus some DVDs and other galleries, so you get a reasonable amount of varied, home made, amateur, and studio produced content. There could be more info and perhaps a forum and discussion board, something to make us feel more involved, so you breeze in, browse around, see everything and, about an hour later, you leave.
