World Gay has a collection of different kinds of guys in soft-core, hard-core galleries and videos. Its a reasonable sized collection with more content being added regularly and the site has a very simple layout and design so there are no navigation problems. It has an amateur feel to it, like someone has bought lots of varied content and started the site as a hobby but that works too.
Once inside World Gay youll find three simple content areas: Soft-core Photos, Hard-core Photos and Hard-core Videos. Lets take those in turn for a closer examination:
Soft-core Photos: 13 photo sets featuring a diverse set of guys. You have some young and smooth, white guys and some with muscles and some muscley black guys too. By soft-core the site means solo, the guys get hard-ons and play with them but thats about it, they are on their own. They are cute guys though and I dont know whether they are exclusive to the site but I dont remember seeing them anywhere else. Each gallery has between 30 and 50 pics on average and the images I saw clicked up to 1000 x 750 in size which was pretty good to see.
Hardcore Photos: There were 47 photo sets here each featuring at least two guys. Each set had a title too, as did the soft-core ones, and the titles were things like Vit and his friend, Two Lovers at bedroom and Gays fucking on nature, which led me to think that English wasnt the designers first language. (Gays fucking on nature means two guys fucking outdoors and at bedroom = in the bedroom.) But, you know, as long as the pics are good. Some were 600 x 400 and had the appearance of screen shots, others were larger. Some sets like the outdoor one I mentioned, had some of the outdoor shots and then drifted off into another set up completely featuring different guys. Some though went the whole way with the complete story right through to the cum shot and each gallery had between 30 and 50 shots.
As far as photo sets go this is a simple but good collection. There is an interesting mix of guys here with a mix of races, body types and locations for the scenarios.
There is also an interesting mix in the video area. There are 14 pages of screen shots to guide you making a total of 138 movies to view. Before I test the length and quality though Im flicking through the pages and finding: young guys fucking, Asians, threesomes, solos, trannies and many other genres too. So once again we have a bit of everything, hence the World of the site title I guess. Clicking into a video page I am told that the best way to view the vids is to right click and download them to my hard drive and then run them with Windows Media Player. I tried a stream though and it worked, playing at 352 x 288 @ 700 kbps, which was pretty reasonable quality. Dont be put off by the screencaps on the index pages, these are often blurred and not very good quality but it doesnt mean that the video isnt going to be worth watching. Its just a bit unfortunate as smaller screen cap images would look better on these index pages.
The videos ran for various lengths of time, one was seven minutes and one was 17, for example. Some were high quality and large files while others were 320 x 240 @ 450 and only a few Mbs to download. The video collection is a real mixed bag and, though entertaining and fine to view, did leave me wondering what it was all about. I went back and checked the tour in case Id missed something but the text there was your standard advertising about how hard the cocks were and how hot the men were the usual stuff. So I can only assume that World Gay is a collection of vids and pics from everywhere and anywhere that features all kinds of gay action; the World part comes from the fact that there are various races, white, black, Asian (to generalise) involved in the pics and videos.
The members area is actually very simple. You have those three content areas and a support link which opens your mail programme. Back on the home page there are three bonus sites to be accessed: Boys Wedding, Gay Cartoon and Studs Fun we will be reviewing those sites separately soon so watch out for their individual write ups. Sadly when I clicked the link I got a page not found error so hopefully that will be sorted out before you try it. If not youll have to e-mail the webmaster or try the sites directly.
There were two pieces of update news at the top of the main page, one past and one to come stating what video titles were being added and when. And that was it for features and extras and anything else really.
Navigating the site is easy as it is so basic. The photos come with thumbnail galleries and numbered pages, full sized pics come with previous and next thumbnails which is a neat idea and there is a back to gallery link too. Each video has that screen cap and the same instructions on how to download but the text is black on blue so not very easy to read. It would be useful for the site to put a link to the Windows Media Player software download in case anyone doesnt have it and theres no reason at all why it cant suggest you stream the vids as well as download them. A little more thought and the site design could be improved no end. (Its not bad, its just basic.)
So what you have here is a simple collection of medium to good quality videos and picture galleries featuring all kinds of ethnic guys in all kinds of gay sex. There are solos, duos, groups and orgies in the vids and pics and they are all easy to access. The site is, as I said, basic and could do with a few extra features to boost it up a little bit like checking the links to the bonus sites and having a FAQ page, and it does have an amateur webmaster feel to it. But the content is fine.
