Male Spectrum is the organisation to sign up to when you want some variety in your porn. It houses a collection of reality sites with all kinds of hot action from first timers and porn stars alike, it also gives you lots of extras, it's good value in that respect and it is easy to use. There are updates happening, the network is easy to cope with and there are interactive options. There is only one downside really and that is: some of this content is available as feeds on lots of other sites.
The bulk of the "exclusive" content is contained in seven sites that you have access to in the reality section. Twinks For Cash, Gay College Parties, His First Facial, Gay Blind Date, His First Huge Cock, His First Gay Sex, and Hot Muscle Dudes. You might recognise some of those names and that's why I put "Exclusive" like that. It is because these sites are also sold as feeds, so they regularly appear as extras in other members' areas. But add these together and add in the 26 feed sites that your members' area contains, and you are looking at a lot of porn. I'd say there were something like 1,300 or more videos in the main list, and probably as many galleries. So we are not short on content here.
We are also not short on quality as I found some files up at 3,200 kbps @ 1280 x 720, though older content may not be as good quality of course, and there are other choices. Male Spectrum does have a bye-line of Stimulating Technology and your dick which I quite like and the site is actually very nicely designed and there are some fun functions attached to it. But what were are really looking for here is the variety of the guys, the scenes, the galleries and the sites. You will find some top names appearing in these scenes, but also loads of amateurs in the Reality series. Youve got genuine straight guys (we are told) having their first gay sex experiences, you've got genuine gay amateurs taking their first and biggest cock in their asses, you've got real first date couples meeting up and going out, then going home, as the cameras film everything, and you have the famous and rather ubiquitous Twinks For Cash which is mainly about two horny older guys paying twinks for sex bouts in their office. Its all good clean, dirty fun and it is all easy to access.
Click the top menu for Reality Sites and then choose the one you want to see; lets say His First Gay Sex. That site then opens in a new tab and you have a simple page showing the recent updates, select a scene and the viewing page comes up. The viewing options area good here, you can stream in Flash or WMV in four choices of speeds to suit connections from dial up to broadband, and you can chose to view clips or the full scene. Trying the WMV stream I found it opened in the same window and took a while to get buffering, and the DSL version was at 90 kbps @ 640 x 360. To be honest I found the Flash version much easier to run and the quality was fine even at full screen on most of the connection selections.
There are also the photos that come with the videos and these are found on the same viewing pages. Images clicked up to good sizes, 550 x 800 for example, and again the quality was fine. As for content uploads, it's a bit harder to be exact as I didn't see many dates. But the content is being updated, I can tell that from checking numbers from previous and other reviews, so you've got no worries there. Were told there are multiple updates each week and there probably are.
There are all kinds of neat extras and functions associated with the Male Spectrum members' area. You have the main content listed in the top menu and that includes the feed sites which all open in new tabs so you don't get lost. There is also a Bonus Network which isn't really a network as such, it is a collection of other sites of interest, like stores and chat and cam sites, and some of them will require an additional sign up. There is also a how it works area which is a good help page should you have any troubles, plus there are links to support if needed. Down the left hand side of your main pages you find things like a members' poll, links to live chat-help, you can send in ideas for scenes, find top lists and social networking buttons.
You find neat search functions on the site as well, with a couple of options in the left column and a general search engine in use. When you are viewing a scene or gallery you can rate it and add it to your favourites collection, which is then found in the top menu. And there is a function for you to use should you want to read or write any comments about what you see. Movies come with good descriptions and are easy to play, and you shouldn't encounter any technical problems at all.
Male Spectrum doesn't quite cover the entire spectrum of gay porn (fetish content?) but it certainly covers a lot and it's more or less got the reality aspect nailed down. You might have seen some of this content as feeds on other sites and that is only because it is popular, and it is popular because it is good. It is also varied, easy to access, decent quality and comes with good viewing options and updates. Well worth a full membership.
