The trend for reality sites reached a peak a couple of years back, but it is still a popular trend and some new reality sites are springing up even today. Real Gay Couples is one of them and this one comes from the We shoot porn stables, a company known for good sites, good quality and good porn. Here we have, as the title suggests, genuine couples making their first porn. You also get to access two other sites with your membership, both of which hold exclusive content.
The first thing to note here is that this is a new site so there are only 12 scenes in the Real Gay Couples list at present. But the site has only been going for 12 weeks, so there's an update schedule and it is being kept to. You log in to a home page that gives you the recent updates and site news, and you can see straight away that this is a well-designed members` area. The top menu takes you to the main areas, or you can simply check out the recent movies. Use the videos tab in the menu though and select All videos and you find a total of 101 scenes. That's because you can also access the content from Tasty Twink and Boy Feast. In fact, the Couples site name didn't appear in the drop-down, so you need to check the title of the site from which each scene comes if you want to find the reality content.
Another way to find the reality content only is to select one of the other site names and see its list of videos, and then use the neat search and sort options at the top of the index page. You can mix and match content by site here and filter by site, model or category. Whichever way you get to the scenes though you will find the same viewing options for every scene throughout the network of sites.
Click the Watch Now button on the index page for the scene you want to see, that is, having seen the good sized sample pics and read the write up, and you find the standard viewing page. Here you have good descriptions, links to the pictures, various interactive options which I will talk about later, and a host of viewing options. You can stream in up to five versions including a 720p or higher (some scene are, or will be, high definition), and you can download in various choices of Mp4 and WMV. The quality is good, though the lower Mp4 files are designed for your mobile phones, so may not be as good on a desktop PC. You can switch to mobile phone use at any time: just look for the links on the main pages.
The quality is not an issue here, even on the mid-range stream I was able to go full screen with no trouble, though the faster your connection the better if you want to go higher or HD. Whats good is that the scenes start with an interview with the couple, so you can get to find out a bit about them; or you can jump through if you're only after the sex. The action then becomes natural and realistic, and they soon lose their inhibitions and forget the camera is there. Its not voyeur style filming as the quality is so good, but you do end up feeling like you are in the room with them. And yes, the sex does get hardcore later on in the movies.
Clicking to the pictures area for the scenes, you find good sized thumbnails leading to images at 667 x 1,000 when at full size, but which are scaled down for the screen. These too hare good quality, digital and well taken. They give your some portraits and then lead you through the action. There were around 50 of these pics per set. You also have a Photos tab in your main menu but this seems unrelated to your couples. There were nine solo twink shoots. Nice enough, but not part of the real couples site really. Your other content comes in the form of the two bonus sites, and then a set of Bonus Videos which are links in from feed sites; good ones though and also exclusive.
The members' area also has a model index in its main menu and here you find 65 guys; clearly more men that appear in the Real Gay Couples content and that's because they are also the twinks from your two bonus sites. They start off with a sample pic and a small write up but you can also expend the profile and see more details about each one, plus links to his videos. Its a neat way of searching out content.
Now back to the video viewing pages: you get very interactive with his site and network; each viewing page is the same even for the feed videos. You can add things to a favourites area, and you give rates and leave comments. But the site goes further than most and allows you to create playlists as well. You take clips from the scenes and add them to a playlist that you name, so you can have cum shots or twinks fucked or whatever. Then when you see another scene and want to keep a bit of it, you simply add that clip to one of your lists. You then find them in the My Account area where you can share them with other members.
You can also make up a profile and share that, and dip in and out of other guys playlists and favourites, and profiles actually. There are also good search and sort options for content including a very comprehensive advanced search page. So, you get a bit more than your average in terms of interactive options. The design is also good, there are no problems with navigation, there is help and support if needed, and you should have no technical issues with this member area.
Real Gay Couples has many good things going for it: the fact that it is realty and clearly so, the couples are relaxed and horny, and the sex is natural and what we want to see. It is also very good quality in terms of filming and presentation, the site is very interactive and fun to use; almost as exciting as the content! And you get all those good quality extras too. Its a small site but it is growing at the rate of one new exclusive scene per week.
