The Yaoi Movie Archive is actually larger than you first think. There are 50 titles in here but some of these have up to 13 episodes and with each one at around 30 minutes you've got a fair amount of animation to view. Its not all hardcore, some of it is slightly worrying but its all good quality. There are no galleries, were looking at a movie driven site here but technically and artistically it is well planned and presented.
You will find the content is divided into sections. These range from Very Soft to Very Hard and each section has its own amount of content. There is a list of all the hot scenes which are the sexy ones so if you're only coming in for those you can easily find them they are edits from longer scenes.
In the Very Hard section were six movies and these were, as you'd expect, the hardcore ones. Some of the boys depicted here are, IMHO, too young and thus their privates are fuzzed out. I know this is animation and fantasy but Well, Ill leave it up to you to decide. Other movies feature teens, twinks and younger guys and there is a mix of fetish (medical examinations) and fantasy with Samurai stories, bondage and some straightforward and erotic sex. The Hard area contains 13 movies, and were moving away from the sex here but there are some action/violent scenes. The Soft area has 14 and the Very Soft has 17 but remember that some of these are in episodes, so there is more content than you first think.
The movies stream in Flash and the buffering is very fast, the quality is also good so Im not sure how they've done that but I am glad they have. The movies that you download are in .avi format and the quality remains high, the download speed is reasonable to so that's also good news. The artwork and direction are fine, there are subtitles and dubbing and music accompanies many of the scenes. Its just like watching a toon on TV, the quality is that good. As long as you aren't looking for `100% hardcore then you will love it in here.
There are few extras features at Yaoi Movie Archive, no favourites areas or comments boxes, but you can rate content in the main areas. You will also find two bonus sites to access for more Hentai and animations, but these are straight, lesbian and tranny themed. They have categories but I didn't see any gay categories in there. Still, worth a hunt around and a real bonus for true Hentai fans.;
Navigating the movie archive is a simple affair. You have the Hot area for the edited down porn clips and you have the four main areas. Each movie comes with sample pics and a brief description and there are also categories with tag worlds. So if you find a romance that you like you can click romance and find all others with the same tag. Your main menu stays with you under the toony top banner and there are clear navigation links at the bottom of the pages too. There are no galleries, its movies only here, and there is no update schedule either there is on the bonus sites so you cant be sure when something new is going to be added. The home pages gives you a brief welcome but that's about it for text and chat, information and news.
Expect to find well made Yaoi scenes here and on varied themes too; from hardcore to simple romances and adventures, with erotica in there too. You will find great quality productions and enough of them to justify your membership. Were not sure when more will come along but you have the addition of two bonus Hentai sites to view a treat for true fans as long as you're not simply looking for gay content.
