There are five sites included with your membership to Redass Twinks, five sites that take teens (18+) and Twinks as their stars. Each site has its own theme as well, and here the theme is spanking. These boys get spanked and fucked, by each other and, in some episodes, by older men the site describes as Dilfs. There are movies, some galleries advertised, easy access to the other sites and some nice movies, but here are also a few technical issues still to be resolved as you will discover.
When you first sign in you may well come to the network home page first. Here there are 90 movies from the sites all spread out with sample pics and there are also category filters to use to hone in on what you want to see. But if you go to the Sites page and then choose Redass Twinks you will get to the spanking themed content set apart on its own. Doing this I found 15 movies and they were all dated July 17th of 2013, about two weeks ago as I write.
Now then, I know for sure I saw at least one of the other sites sometimes last year, or further back (and it still only has 23 videos), so I am not sure what is happening with upload dates at this site. It maybe that the network has only just been drawn together and that new scenes will be uploaded before long. It may mean that this is the date the site joined the network and nothing else is going to be happening. Who knows?
Checking the network home page I did see that there were Upcoming Updates and although these dates for posting had expired, there was content showing. So, the spanking site had been due a photo set and it appeared. That was good news, particularly as the seven photo sets currently listed for Redass Twinks led to 404 page not found errors when I went to look. (One of the technical problems I mentioned.)
So, the 15 videos: these come in at around 20 minutes each and you can stream in one choice of resolution or download in three choices of Mp4, one of which is suitable for mobiles, we are told. These are full scene files only, with no clips, and some of the larger files, for the HD Mp4 versions were at around 700 Mbs, or possibly higher, so a faster connection will, as always, serve you better. The standard one came out at 1,440 x 1,076 @ 1,508 kbps. The quality of the movies is fine, there are no complaints there. The lighting is OK, sometimes a bit dark if a scene is filmed in a dungeon, or dimly lit bedroom for atmosphere, the sound is OK and I had no trouble streaming. It was easier to do so when I wasn't also downloading, and you might be better to let the buffer get ahead before you settle in for a viewing.
The action does indeed revolve around spanking, with hands, whips and other instruments, and more often than not this is Twink action. There are some scenes, towards the top of your list which include older guys and men in masks, giving the movies a more dangerous air. Younger guys in black jockstraps are hooded and bound by chubbier, older men in leather, and stretched out on beds or tables. In other scenes there are two or three twinks playing together, some with less conviction than others, and there are certainly red asses that later get fucked, so the site delivers on those tour promises. I also found the guys Id seen on the tour, in the videos that had been advertised, so that's good. I didn't find a model index though, it would have been a nice addition.
I didn't find the images either. At least, I found the photos page but these didn't lead to galleries. I did find all the other bonus videos though from sites: Under Construction Boys, Boys Pee Pee, Crazy Party Boys and Cum To My Ass. (See our separate reviews.) But I didn't find the bonus material on the Bonus page; another 404 file not found error.
Don't be too put off by those file not found errors. Yes, we don't want to see them on any site we've paid to get in to, but: I was in Crazy Party Boys the other day and could not find the videos, I kept getting those error messages. So I emailed the site through their help/webmasters links and told them. A day later I got an email back and the links are now fixed. I just need to tell them about their galleries and bonus sites page (or did I?). But I shouldn't have to!
Anyway; if you have any troubles, there is someone there to help. I didn't have any other technical problems, though I would have liked more information about the guys, a model index, scene info and better update dates and news. I am still not sure how often the site updates, if it does. The coming soon dates were all, at the time, in the past.
But the network, though small, is set out in a decent way, it's easy to navigate, there was no chance of getting lost, and there are those category links to help you filter the content. There is also a search engine and you can order pages in various ways. There are some best and top links to use but these found only page errors, again. As there is not a lot of content it doesn't take long to flick trough the index pages anyway. I can't comment on all the galleries and their construction as the galleries were not found, but the one I did see gave me thumbnails (that did not enlarge) and zip file downloads of full sites. Like the videos they also had linked tag words and recommended other scenes, plus rates and comments.
It's all in place at Redass Twinks, all the extra functions and features are there, more or less, but there's still something not quite running at 100% in the technical department. It's like something else need to be switched on.
Being one of five twinks sites means that you get a reasonable value membership at Redass Twinks; we would like to know more about updates and when they may happen, wed like a few technical issues to be ironed out, wed like to know more about the models and wed like to see proof of age in some cases, but other than that Reasonable quality videos, most work fine, you can download, you find the videos they advertise, and there are 90 in total in the network.
