They Are Boys is a simple site that brings you East European twinks in exclusive hardcore, bareback sex adventures. The guys are young and smooth, hung and full of boy-cum and the videos are a good quality. The site is easy to use and pretty basic in terms of interactivity, but that's ok, you can simply view and download the movies. There are a mix of galleries and videos here, and as this is quite a new site there is not a huge content count, and updates are pretty slow.
Lets just check out the content count to start us off. The first piece of content, a horny duo video, was added in August 2008 and since then there has been a new video or gallery every two weeks. It's roughly two or sometimes three pieces of content per month, though it is actually only one new scene each month; first come the photos and then two weeks later, the video, or vice versa. That's not a huge content count, and you are being asked to pay nearly $30.00 a month to access it, but what you do get is exclusive and well made. There are actually six videos and nine galleries here, and you know what is what because of the icon of a camera of film spool that's shown with each sample on the index pages. You can link to the gallery's movie from the top menu when you are in each gallery, and the same works when you are on a video view page, so getting to the content is easy.
Actually it is very easy; the content is shown with sample pics and dates, plus a description and you simply click on of the sample pics to get to the viewing page. So, with a movie: you then find eight little video screens and some of them might be black. That's because the movie doesn't need all eight (so why show them? Who knows), and each scene is thus divided up into clips of around four minutes each. Click one of the boxes and the download command box appears, and away you go, The files were all around 10 Mbs each so pretty quick to come down, and they can all be played in WMV format at 960 x 540 @ 4,194 kbps. The quality is good, it's all nice and clear and the sound is fine too. But I do have an issue:
There are no full scenes here and only the one choice for viewing. No streams, no other file types and no full length movies. You are left to download up to eight clips and then watch them in chunks. The four minute runtimes is good for clips but a full scene version would be much less frustrating to watch.
The galleries hold around 70 pics each and these are sown as basic thumbnail pages where the image then clicks up, in a new screen, to 857 x 1,280 in size. These 70 shots take you through the action and give you a good indication of how it all unfolds, and you click them open and closed one at a time, which gets a bit repetitive after a while. You can save them one by one too. Again the quality is great.
The boys are the stars, and these are very sexy boys. Id say they were all from 18 to around 24, though here isn't any information about them really, but they are all cute and smooth, hung and easy on the eye. There's a tradition here already for the blonde on dark, with many a blonde lad playing top to a dark haired boy bottom, and there are many oral and anal moments you're going to want to save. The action is bareback and cum-shot finales are guaranteed.
They Are Boys is very simple in its members area and you're not going to have any trouble with it. But you might find it lacking in interactivity. Here are no rates, comments or favourites area, and I didn't see any links to bonus sites. The top menu acts as a navigation tool taking you forward and back, or to the gallery or video of the scene you are browsing, and it's all very big and colourful. But there are no links here to extras or interactive options.
The design is neat, cheery, and the pages are well set out and look good; the sample shots are clear and there are no quality problems anywhere. But it is really is a bit too simple, we could do with more ways to get involved, scenes in full files so we don't have to start and stop clips, and I for one would like to see some basic options added to the galleries. Things like slideshows for hands free viewing and zip file downloads. These things are not impossible to add and they would really enhance the members' area.
Ditto the viewing options; it would be good to have more choices for files, some more easily Mac friendly types, and certainly some stream options would all be great to see. As would a model index, stats and details about the boys and a few little extras. Sounds like I'm moaning, Im not really as I cant fault the boys or the sex, nor the quality or filmmaking, but I just feel that They Are Boys could go a little further towards satisfying us members.
The boys are sweet and smooth, hung and horny; the sex is hard and bareback and you are looking at Russian twinks and teens with no condoms. The pages are nicely designed but a bit too simple, there's no way to get involved and the updates are pretty slow. It's all very basic, so rather over-priced for what it is, but the upside is that it is also all good quality, well put together, the boys are perfect and it all works well.
