Tyler's Room started off, about 10 years ago, as a web-cam broadcast, hence the name. But it has grown since then and it now one of the largest collections of feeds and porn on the net, so they say. What you are looking at here are some original movies and guys, and a set of third-party feeds that bring you all kinds of hot gay sex. You can sign up for a decent price, make the most of the variety, check back for regular updates and generally hang out with a cool guy who loves gay sex.
What you see on the tour is more or less what you have when you are signed up, so that's good news: you can test before you buy. Bu once you are logged in you will be able to benefit from all the content that Tyler has on offer, and that is quite a lot.
Check trough the top menu to find the main areas and you will notice that there are 22 Fav Feeds with some big players represented, there are then 25 movie feeds, nine areas from Lucas Entertainment, 11 reality sites from the makers of the legendary Twinks For Cash, and the 19 Elite feeds too. But also in there is a thing called Originals and that's where I wanted to look first.
Click that menu item and your find other areas to explore, in fact there is a list of content arranged by most viewed, recently added and so on, and then arranged in four areas of Romantic, Action, Muscles and Cute. These are the exclusives and there are enough of them to keep you smiling for a long while. You can further arrange them or you can browse the full collection of 292. Tyler seems to favour cute and smooth, young and sexy twinks and you've got a long list of solos and action movies to choose from, all spread out over several index pages. Many of the more recent offerings are in HD format, and I found good choices for streaming and downloading, including WMV, MPG and Flash in various qualities.
If you counted up the full amount of videos here, including all those that you find in the third-party streams, I reckon you are looking at over 1,500 scenes. And these are all varied, with the feeds ranging from twinks to bears and Asians to Latinos. So you really do have variety at Tyler's Room. But you may be wondering how good the value is if you've got mainly feed sites that you may well have seen on many other gay sites. Well, Id say that the exclusives make up for this. Use the feeds as a bit of a distraction, and after all you wont have seen all of them before, but see your membership as a way of finding these exclusive Tyler scenes. They are hot, the guys do really well in natural scenes, the quality is fine, they stream smoothly and you can easily download and keep them.
And then you find the galleries, and again there are probably over 1,500 of these spread around the full collection. I clicked the Photo Sets Large Size option (you can also find a smaller version of the collection) and found 12 pages of galleries. Ok, so not necessarily exclusive boys in each set, but plenty to collect, and a mix of solos and action. All are available in zip file downloads, as well as being available in standard gallery formats.
So, your content here is mainly non-exclusive and comes to you by way of third party feeds, leaving you at the mercy of individual companies with regards to quality. But the exclusive Tyler collection is well worth the signup fee on its own and you've got a huge collection of twinks and upwards in hardcore and solo movies and galleries.
What I liked in particular about the navigation at Tyler's Room was the way that new content opened in a new tab by default. This means you can always get back to the main area of the site as it is always there. Galleries, feeds and the exclusive content do this, so you wont have any trouble browsing and you should not get lost. I did find that some of the feeds took a while to spark up and start working, so you may have some waiting involved, but again that's down to each site.
I would also have liked a search function of some sort, if such a thing is possible on such a big site. (Tyler's Room should be called Tyler's Mansion the site is so big.) You've got all the content set out neatly across three pages and there are top lists and so on, and the menu with its drop-down lists is fine too, so there are no real navigation problems, but you will need a lot of time to wade through and sort out things. And in this respect a favourites area would be a boon. You do find that there is info with content, and this varies according to what content it is, and who provided it. There are also chances to rate things as you go, and there is good news and update information, but you don't get 100% involved with comments and so on. The forum is a great addition to a site that has had over 4 million pieces of content viewed so far. Imagine the kind of community that has sprung up around this site.
But I'm getting off the point. The point is that all the basic functions are here, you wont have any trouble getting around the site, all the technical things worked fine for me and there is help if you need it. You've got no worries at this site.
There is a lot of content here, it is varied and much of it comes from third party providers; this means you may have seen these feed sites before. That's the downside. The upside though is that there is good exclusive content too, plenty of it, great updates, you can download everything, there is masses to see and the whole thing runs really smoothly and well. If you want all kinds of everything for a decent price, but you don't mind running the non-exclusivity risk, then you're laughing.
