Richard makes his own movies and lets you access them in his site that is also part of the Bad Puppy network so once youre signed up you can access all their content too. You have the movies and photo galleries here but the site can be tricky to get around. Having said that the guys you see on the tour are indeed to be found in the members area and although there are some promises on the tour that the site doesnt quite live up to, you do get some well made movies inside.
Bad Boys Films has one of those tours that promises you loads of interesting stuff: the hottest male model site awesome solo and hardcore movies over 50 streaming video feeds badpuppy membership included and so on and there are some cute guys on the tour to tempt you further inside. When you do get to the members area though the page layout changes and you get four guys on the home page in four big pics. You also get a menu that includes links to the join page, the members area what? Arent we already in the members area? This layout had me foxed for a while as I assumed I was still in the public area, I mean why else have links to a join page? Anyway, once Id realised that I was actually somewhere new I started to look around.
There was no information, no welcome and no instructions as to how to use the site. Only a small arrow at the bottom suggested where to go next. Following this link I found that there are actually 18 solo movies on the site; 18 original ones maybe but a far cry from the awesome hard-core of the tour. You can see I wasnt too impressed with my experience so far so, in an attempt to salvage something, I went to the video of the cutest guy Id seen on the tour, Austin, in the hope that he would cheer me up.
Clicking on his page I found the large size image of Austin centre page with a scrolling set of thumbnails above and a static one beneath. This was page one of 11 that brought me 408 images that were 522 x 290 in size (the ones in the centre of the page) or 720 x 405 (when you clicked the scrolling set above.) There was also a slideshow option should you want to view the photos this way. Clicking the videos link took me to a page containing Austins 30 minute video rather ambitiously titled sweet loving ambitious as it was a solo video so I can only assume that this guy loves himself. After searching the page for any links to a video I found a small icon of a camera and clicked that. I was rewarded with a new window, an on-line player with a full screen options, a link to Windows Media Player software and a very long wait for anything else to happen. There was no way of downloading the video so, while I waited for the stream to start, I went in search of other content.
There were those 17 other guys to check out and their pages worked in the same way: sets of images and links to the video page. The guys were all kind of amateur, guy-off-the-street looking which was kind of nice and there were some impressive dicks on show, if youre into size then check out Drew, and all in all the models were an o.k. bunch. But Id done them now and wanted to see what else was on offer. Where, for example were those feed sites Id been promised?
Clicking the home button brought me a new window and the first page of the members area why? I mean, why a new window? Anyway, closing the one behind carefully, as the streaming movie was still buffering in a third window and I didnt want to close that one by mistake, I mean, Id been waiting eight minutes already I was back at the members home page number one. And looking for more content We have a menu which lists Home, where I am, Members, where I am, Join, which Ive done, About Us, which Ive read, Help, which I think I need and Members Get, which sounds interesting and is the last thing on the list anyway so lets click it. (The other things on the list are to do with webmasters and submitting links etc.)
Now this looks more promising. I have a page of information and screen shots of other sites, could these be the feed sites I was promised? Youll have to wait and see the movie has finished buffering and I can watch it now god sound, nice and clear image, long chat at the beginning but after three minutes the guy (remember Austin?) has his kit off and has started playing with himself. Nice editing and a good quality movie but I cant hang around for 30 minutes of the same guy jerking off so its back to those potential feed sites and those screenshots that dont link to anything. There is a link click here to see more and this takes me to an advert for Bad Puppy that also contains a link to the members area I click that and finally find myself in the Bad Puppy members area, yippee! You may need to re-enter your username and password to do this so keep those details handy.
The Bad Puppy network is described in detail in its own review on our pages but in a rather large nutshell you have: thousands of video clips and scenes from a wide range of genres, thousands of images too and links to around 100 sites that all have their own kind of content and which all link back in to BP, just as Bad Boys Films does. So once you find out how to get to it youll have a great time.
Thats kind of my main problem with Bad Boys Films: the design and layout of the site. I didnt even know I was in a members area; if I hadnt had to sign in Id have thought I was on another tour. Get rid of those Join buttons once were in a protected area they only confuse. And stop opening all those new windows. When we want to get back to our members home page why should we be opening a new window, just link the link back to page one Any way A little information wouldnt hurt either, a welcome to the members area, click the link at the bottom of the page to advance or something, or how about a list of videos as a drop down? There are jump-to page links in the galleries so why not on the main page?
Ill stop bleating on about the dreadful navigation and lack of information and say that there were very few other features on the site apart from the exclusive videos and the (when you finally find it) access to Bad Puppy. There are some links at the bottom of the page including Help which is mainly about BP and didnt have answers to the questions how do I access the extra content, where the hell am I? and how do I get out of the Help page? I was stuck in it and couldnt back button out. I clicked Home, expecting another window but got the same window only now with a photo of a guy Id not seen before. What was going on here? There was that advance arrow so I clicked that and discovered I had accidentally stumbled on some galleries. Each solo guy had more pics, no videos, and I reckon I was in the gallery part of the site.
Having finished tearing my hair out I looked at some of the pics and they werent bad. I mean they were screenshots from the high definition movies and I think I was actually in some part of the tour area, I dont really know where I was but I clicked Members again and there was our familiar new window with the members area in it again. Thoroughly confused now I checked the last of the links at the bottom of the page and these were what I would call business links, for webmasters wanting to link up with the site and guys who may want to model. Oh, and finally, at the very bottom of the page were some links over to some galleries and hosted pages where you could se some straightforward and easy to use galleries of naked guys, solos and so on, plus blogs and listings sites. But to be honest with you Id lost interest by then.
This isnt the first site Ive come across recently that is affiliated with, or tacked on to, the Bad Puppy network and its not the most amateurish one Ive seen. But there is something terribly amateurish about the design. Mainly to do with navigation, not letting members know where they are, not providing information and so on as described above. But it does have some very well made movies and some hot guys in there.
