Here's something to consider if you're into amateur black guys and their home videos, as well as being into studio made porn and all kinds of other hot gay sex. Thug Boyfriends is not a specialist gangsta, black site, but it is a collection of ripped videos that often feature ebony guys. It comes with access to several other similar sites with all kinds of other peoples content, and it also has a few photos. The movies are short and stream only and the quality is variable.
Of all of the 16 sites that you can access with your membership to Thug Boyfriends, this one comes out on top as having the most amount of content, in fact there are a couple of black guy themed sites in here and they tend to dominate the videos. There were 549 clips on this one site when I called in and then a further 15 sites to explore. Some of them may share content around and not all of it is ebony themed, but the point is, there is a lot to see here.
But be prepared for some hassles and a few disappointments. First of all, you can only stream the clips and there is no choice as to how. You click on a clip and then it starts to play. You cant jump through it; if you try it will revert to the start, and you cant download it. The quality is not always wonderful, though the Flash player does have a choice of three qualities if you right click over the screen; but there didn't seem to be much difference in visual quality when I did this. That's the trouble with this kind of content; it is homemade and therefore not filmed on HD cameras and the like. But then again, not all of this is home-produced porn, there was a lot of it that looked like it had come from a studio.
You may also have trouble finding it. You enter to a general home page and then need to select the site you want from the drop-down list, and then go to the video collection and see if the page changes. Once you are there, stay there. I went to view the pictures and found myself out on the tour again and having to log back in.
And when I did find the pictures I was more than surprised. There were 50 pics here (and I fiddled with the drop-down to make sure I was in the correct site) and only one or two of them showed me any ebony cock. A lot of them showed me photos of white guys with bottles sticking out of their asses, one even showed me well, I don't want to tell you but I could see no link between a site called Thug Boyfriends and its tour promises and images of white men fisting and showing off their insides.
So, deciding to ignore the images (or lack of them) I returned to the videos. Mixed quality to say the least, and mixed action with solo guys, couples and groups. There are young black guys and older, there are hung men and cum shots and indoor and outdoor sex. There are interracial scenes and there are some very dark guys too, plus some Latinos. Runtimes for these videos vary. I found some that were one minute in length, others at three minutes and a few that were up at 25. Each one is sampled on the index pages with an image that looks like it has been through the retouch mill a bit and there you are also told the runtime and the number of views the clip has had. Some had been viewed 20 times, others had not yet been viewed at all. That might tell you something about how popular the site is.
But it does seem to be busy updating, at least if we can believe the schedule that is shown at the top of the page. This was showing three uploads per day to the network of sites and Thug Boyfriends was getting around two new clips per week.
As for the problems I found with the site, well there were some big ones, apart from the images and the poor quality, such as being booted out every now and then and the tricky navigation. There were loads of adverts for cam sites that really started to annoy me, even when you go to view a video there's an advert loading right there next to the viewing screen. There's a big banner advert for anther network across the top too. Why? We've just joined this site, do you really think we will want to sign up to another? Actually, having seen those images and some of these videos, you might.
I also thought there should be more viewing options, there are no downloads and only one stream. There is no information and there is nothing interactive about the members' area. You cant rate things, even though every clip has got five stars from somewhere, and you can't comment. There is a sign up support site if you need it, but no other info and no chance to get involved.
And although this is a kind of network, what you really have is one large site with 16 different areas that you access from the drop-down list. It's easy to navigate through the index pages of videos once you have them loaded, and everything worked; it's just that there is not a lot of stuff here to get working and it's very limited in how you view the content.
Thug Boyfriends is fine for grabbing some clips of hot black guys. But the quality is poor, there is no info or interactivity, the clips are short, mainly, and they are not all amateur and homemade. There are lots of them though and updates are good. The site could do with a re-design and some technical work on navigation, not booting out members, and it could certainly do with dumping the fisting and ass-stretch galleries.
