Male Wank is a bit of an enigma. It is a site from the Kink company, so you expect top class action, good maintenance and on-going updates. But as far as I can see the site has stopped updating and holds only 35 solo jerk off scenes. You're not being asked to pay very much per month for access, and I did find I was able to then wander around all the Kink sites without having to log in. Maybe we should see this site as a way in to Bound Gods and other top BDSM sites that are bonuses.
First off, I found that I entered a members area that held five index pages with a view all shoots link at the top of the page. There were seven shoots on the first page and 32 in total; you can order them all by date, rate and comment. Having said that, I didn't see any dates posted with content and the most recent comment was in 2011.
Each shoot is a solo jerk off scene and the guys are varied; black, white, ebony, it is this difference that gives you some variety. Each comes with a video and a set of images. I was able to download videos as zip files, and also I could take each little clip. Scenes came in around seven clips each lasting about two minutes in length and being two MBs in size; the transfer rate was around 110 Kbps so it took no time at all for files to arrive. When they did I found them to be really small in viewing size and opened in Real Player at 320 x 240 @ 226 kbps, which by today's (and Kinks) standards, is pretty week. You cant enlarge the image as it pixilates straight away, so needless to say I was not that thrilled with the quality.
The still images for the same shoot came out at a much larger size and better quality, 1200 x 800 in size and they were clear and sharp. So Im not sure whats going on here, why there is such a big difference between video quality and image quality. There may be a clue on some of the pages which have text but no link to a most compatible MWV version of some movies. But when I went for these I got a screen at 320 x 240 again and a bit rate of 306 kbps.
You may be able to tell from this that I was actually not that impressed with Male Wank and that's unusual as it is a Kink site. If you use the top drop-down list you can find your way to Kink on demand, and several straight fetish sites, but also in this list are: Bound Gods for hardcore BDSM, Bound in Public for similar but more public humiliations and hardcore fetish sex, Butt Machine Boys for guys getting drilled by machines, and Naked Kombat which is totally horny gay naked wresting and hard-man sex combined and well worth any signup fee on its own.
And sadly that's about all I can tell you about Male Wank: if you can use it to get access to the bonus sites then good for you, but otherwise you've only got 31 scenes of solo guys, in very short clips and very small resolutions and no more updates, but you do have good photo galleries of these guys to collect.
The photo galleries are Pic lens enabled and come with zip files, and navigation is pretty simple too. Actually navigation everywhere is very simple with this site, there is a basic top menu with a link to all the scenes, there are numbered index pages, clear links which all work, and there is also a model index. This takes you to the full network model index and from there you must filter by women, or men, or transsexual, depending on who you want to find; so it is not a Male Wank model index.
You can rate the content and add your comments if you wish and several members have already done that it seems, though I didn't see any recent comments in the boxes. Some were as old as 2003, another indication at the site was once something much better.
Check top and bottom of pages to find other links, not only to all the sites that Kink have on offer, but to the Bound Gods live shows; you are told the time and date of the next one and when you click to the live show area you find yourself on a much better site with a forum and extreme BDSM action. I was able to slip straight into these sites so they were like bonuses for me and they hold so much more, and better quality, content; as long as you're ok with heavy BDSM action.
I have to conclude that Male Wank must have started as a good idea and got quickly forgotten but it has been left out there for the curious. As long as you, like me, can use it as access to the other horny Kink gay fetish sites then you'll be ok. But if you are looking for solo jerk off scenes to play along to, Id keep looking. Maybe the company should do the decent thing and stop promoting this site; it's going nowhere and what there is, well, it is not good quality.
