When you see this site you will agree that The Cross Dressers is certainly original! It's not a site for cross-dressers, where you can hang out and chat and so on, but it is a unique site that takes amateur looking, younger guys mainly, and dresses one or two up per scene, and then lets the hardcore begin. It also carries many threesomes, exclusive content, galleries, and a whole wardrobe full of extras which really boost your value for money.
But the sad thing is that it does not seem to have added anything new since March 2009. There are just over 50 videos and galleries, and the movies run for a good length of time and stay on niche. They are well made, and put together, and there are streams and downloads to be had. You only get the one choice of player and that's WMV, some files are larger in resolution terms than others, with high quality resolutions in use. So, not a lot of choice, but a decent stock of original content which is easy to access, and which plays/streams without faltering.
If you are a cross-dressing specialist then you may have some issues with the costumes, as they can be slightly over the top, but generally the boys look good when dressed up. These are not trannies, but simply young guys putting on a frock and make up to make out in. Another neat thing is that they often keep some of this clothing on while being screwed by the straight man, for want of a better word, so the dressing up element stays with your through the movies.
And so does the sex. You get a short build up, a bit of a story and a decent start to the scene, then the action kicks in and usually revolves around the straight guy, certainly straight looking guy, being serviced by his girls. In other movies there are two straight acting men and one cross dressing twink or youth. A good mix, with all your standard oral and anal made more horny by the dressing up element. Add in some scenes that feature an older guy with dressed up twinks and you've got content that borders ion the intergenerational theme, which gives you even more variety.
The image galleries contain similar, if not the same, scenes. These are a mix of video capture and digital shots and the site tells you which is which. This means numbers vary as does the quality, but I didn't see anything disappointing.
For additional content, though not on the same theme, you simply click in to the bonus area, via the top menu. Here you've got more content in the form of bonus sites, from the same company so still exclusive, and you have a set of DVDs plus loads of feed sites too. All in all you get well served for content at The Cross Dressers, and the only problem is you wont know when more is likely to be added, if indeed the site is going to add any more.
Members get the assistance of a simple top menu when they come to move around the site, and this serves you very well. There were no navigation problems here, some things like the DVDs in the extras department, opened in new windows, and the page design does change when you start to watch a video or view a gallery. But even then you have links to the main areas, so you don't have to use your back button.
If you have any trouble playing the streams this may be because you need the Active X add on, but again the site gives you all the details you need and the links to the software if you don't have it. It isn't very hot on giving you any other information though, there is no info about the models, apart from links to their content in the model index, and scenes only have the simplest of descriptions.
Your members area has a favourites department where you can store videos and galleries, or individual photos, to come back to later. There are also opportunities to rate the content, and top lists are shown on the home page. So, that is not a huge amount of extra features, but the basics are all there and the navigation is easy. The design is nicely camp, which goes with the theme of the site, and there were no technical problems when I called in.
You're left feeling that someone took this site as far as they could and then left it to fend for itself. If it weren't for the extras you might be thinking it was a lot to pay for not a huge amount of content (and the prices are in Euros). But because you've got 12 bonus sites, hundreds of feeds and DVDs, and some pretty unique main content, you shouldn't be complaining. I'm not, I enjoyed the site, it did the trick and maybe one day it will be resurrected. I hope so.
