This site is about showing you real amateur home footage of sexy guys at or near the beach. Ripped Beach BFs shows us lots of photos on the tour, lots of images of sexy, tough and muscled guys hanging out in and out of swimwear. You get the idea that this is all home-shot amateur footage and a lot of it is, but not all. When you sign up you can access content from 16 sites, there are updates listed every day, and there is no doubt you get a lot of clips. But the quality is not wonderful.
It's hard to tell you exactly how many videos you can find that are Ripped Beach BFs themed because after the first page the movies kind of drifted off into being general gay porn, and black porn, and then I saw some clips that I'd seen on other sites in this network. And this network is really like one big site with 16 different areas, and sometimes the content is all mixed in together. And one other quick word of warning: when I tried to get into the members' area I was directed to a straight teen-girl site. You might need to sign up for another site in the Gay Engage network and access this one that way. When you sign up for any of the 16 sites you get to access them all so that's ok.
On page one of the index pages I found around five out of 15 sample shots looked beach themed. There were a couple more on page two and three but after a while I began to notice more general gay (and straight) porn clips, and the idea of seeing really ripped and hunky guys in trunks on the beach kind of went out of the window. Or went swimming and never came back. Plenty of twinks fucking, plenty of what looked bad quality enough to be home shot on mobile phone clips, plenty of solo twinks and lots of ebony guys with hung cocks. There were plenty of clips in the network, over 2,000 I reckon and you can see them all at no extra cost. But this site isn't really a day at the beach.
I did find a couple of clips with naked guys on the sand filmed from a distance, some good voyeur moments were had when two guys were filmed making out behind the rocks, and there were some sexy guys in swimwear. But I would not say this is a specialist site for voyeur or beach-voyeur fetish fans.
You only get one viewing choice per clip as well, and that is s middle of the road, standard to low quality stream. This does mean it will probably play on all and any connections, but you won't find high quality clips here. And you wont find downloads either. I also found that I could not jump through the clip, I had to start at the start and watch it all without being able to pause or fast forward. I could put my mouse over the clip and right click to change the quality from low to high but I didn't actually notice much difference; full screen doesn't really work well either.
And I am calling these video clips because the runtime are short, usually around a minute or two, but there are some clips that ran for longer. Many have a homemade feel, while others look and feel like studio productions, ripped off from other sites; I am sure some even still had watermarks on them. There are some photos here but only 50 and again these may be shared around and they don't stay on the beach theme.
I'm sorry to bleat on but there are not that many nifty extra features here ether. You've got some more, studio, DVDs in an area that is described as Unlimited, but which has only 200 DVDs, which is actually quite a neat extra. But you don't have any interactive options or information. We don't know where the movies come from, and you cant comment or rate them. There are stars beneath the sample shots but these cant be clicked, so no voting is possible. There is no model index and no info about where the clips come from.
When I went to the pictures area I got booted out to the tour again and had to sign back in and the 50 images open individually as there are no galleries or slideshows, or zip downloads. In fact, there are no downloads at all.
There are a lot of adverts for other sites though as well and links in the top menu to take you to chat and dating sites that are not 100% free or included. These adverts got in the way for me as there was one on each viewing page plus a large banner advert for another network with your menu and adverts and links to cam sites at the bottom. We can do without all that. Navigation was sometimes a pain and it took a while to figure out the best way to enter the network, find and site and then find its videos. But I guess the videos played ok and I was able to find lots of them.
I wasn't completely impressed by Ripped Beach BFs, and I've not been too impressed by what I have seen of this network. It has only one view option for each clip, short and low quality clips, and few images. But it does update frequently though dates are not published, only the schedule, and it does hold thousands of non-exclusive and varied clips. It's a bit pricy perhaps, but there's a lot to be seen; just don't expect it to all be all amateur beach bums.
