Ive just had a quick look around Rear Stable to check out exactly what the site is about. Not that I was confused by the tour or anything and I know that Raging Stallion is one of the best producers of gay porn around, but I wasnt sure if I was going to be able to view some movies or if I was entering a shopping site. As it turns out its kind of a mixture of both. Anyway this is what I found:
I started off at the Bunkhouse, which is the Rear Stable members home page and worked my way down to see all the features. Theres a fair amount of flashy looking stuff here, like the faces of hunky guys going past on the top banner. There were some other features too, which I will talk about later. Up at the top though you can get to the videos by clicking the Video Stable link and here you will find 76 full length DVDs and a box shot image of each. Click one and go to its main page where you will see four large thumbnails outlining the action, a link to buy the DVD, comments and rating box and, further down Action Sets, links to a gallery of images from the movie, (482 x 728 in size.) But no options to view? Well, not on that particular video anyway, not that I could see. I tried another though and found that there were scenes I could view. I could play a Flash version or a WMV one and I could download the full file too. If streaming on line you will have a variety of four speed choices from 38k to 700k in both media players. The screen opens on the page and the streaming didnt take long to start. You can change your bandwidth but the site works out the most compatible one for you so you are in safe hands.
Clicking around the DVDs I found that more often than not there were scenes that I could stream or download and they all came with a photo gallery too. Though not huge in size the photos were good in quality and show you the most important parts of each movie. The guys appearing in the films and in the galleries are mainly all of a type. Im not sure what the best word to describe them would be, in fact I dont think there is one particular word. Hunks, yes with some hairy ones, some with a smattering of chest hair but all of them with toned chests and dark nipples mainly white guys with some Latinos in there too Hard bodied studs who look and act butch but love to get a big, hard cock up their ass There are some guys in leather, some bondage scenes, toy play, loads of ass fucking and rimming and nothing twinky or soft about the action at all. Theres thats a word or two about the guys appearing on the site. If you want to check them individually you can use the Stallion Men link and go to the model index. The guys are listed, like the movies, in alphabetical order. You can browse their face and body pics and then click on one you might want to see more of. Youll be taken to his own page where you will find a few more pics and a link to his video appearance, or appearances. I like this kind of model index, its a good way to see whos out there and you can focus in on the kind of guys that turn you on.
Moving on to look at the other content I found three pages of feed sites at the XXX cinema. As you might expect on this kind of site they were manly hard sex, bareback, muscle guys and bear feeds so were kind of keeping within the same genre here. At least we are on the first page of 15 sites. Page two had some younger guys sites, frat boys and reality sites plus links over to three magazine sites including Freshmen and [2] magazine. There is a Men Live area on the site too and this is both a feature and content. Click the launch live camera now and you are into a Java run chat room. You can put up a nick name and chat to other guys if there are any there. But when a live show is running you can see that in the window too. The time and date of the next show is advertised so you can make a note in your diary and come back to it later. Meanwhile there are 15 pages of archived shows to watch. Simply choose one and watch it on line in its own Flash player. You cant download these and you will have to stay on that page to watch the whole thing you cant browse around other pages without losing the player so you cant wander off while he chats and strips and then pop back later when hes really into his stride.
There was also a link to something Ive never seen on a website before, music to fuck by. Of course I had to click it and it brought me a list of movie titles and the soundtracks from them. What a fantastic idea! I mean, theyve paid to have the music written, they may as well let the members hear it (without the huffing and puffing of the sex). Prices are reasonable, there are good search options and you get plenty of information and pics to help you make up your minds before you buy.
Sadly I had to cut the music (the stand alone player link didnt work) and return to the home page to check if I had missed any other features you should know about. Well, there are updates listed here, news about technical things on the site and the time and date of the next live show. There are sneak peeks and scenes from the latest releases, you can comment on each one by the way as well as give each scene a rating. You can also add things to your personal favourites collection so you can customise the site to suit yourself. The latest photo sets are listed too as are the newest hot studs to join the Stallion Men model index. Again, you can comment or rate any of this content and any of these guys so you really can get interactive with the site. Its also easy to get around and technically fine. The home page may appear crowded with all kinds of things but thats because there are all kinds of thing to find on the site! (The top menu makes it easy though.)
Further down the home page you will find links to the support areas and to the bonus sites saving the best until last here!
