It's not, as you might think, a solo jerk-off site at Wank Off World, it's not about a world where guys whack one off on their own. It's about what you can do with yourself when you are signed in and it is designed to get you hard and horny and give you some great wank fodder. Much of which is exclusive, and all of which is good quality. There is a lot here, with hundreds of videos and thousands of photos, plus stories and feeds and all designed to get your imagination and your dick stirring.
Where do you start with this content count? There are various areas for videos and galleries but in total you are looking at over 950 videos (clips and full length scenes) and around 2,500 galleries with around 100 pics each. You see, when you start off at this members' area you come to a wall of text giving you a general introduction followed by a list of recent updates. And then you click to continue and find a top menu which houses links to: Exclusive videos, exclusive images, amateur, Asian and ethnic, bisexual, couple and group, fetish and kink, hunk and stud and twink images. Then you have areas for Video movies, stories and feeds.
So, the videos: These are set out across index pages that are clearly numbered and you have titles, upload dates (weekly) a description and a photo from the movie, then a list of versions in clips and a full scene version as well. I found 515 kb versions and 1.6Mp ones for the clip selection and a full on, best quality download of the full scene. Some of these files were around 300 to 400 Mbs in size but the download speed was fine, around 220kbps, so for me they came down the line quickly enough. If you opt to stream a clip, with a left click, then it looks like it has to fully upload and buffer before it will start.
The more recent clips, in the smaller versions, play at 682 kbs @ 640 x 480 in WMV 9. When I went to download a larger quality clip, with a right click and save I found the resolution to be 1,440 x 1,080 @ 1837 kbps, which was fine by me.
The action at Wank Off World is good and varied. There were quite a few Latino guys and black guys in recent video additions, and some hot interracial action as well. The settings were also varied, lots of outdoor stuff and indoor duos and threesomes, and some stories, well, guys in costume at least. This was in the set of 250 or so exclusive movies. The other films and clips were non-exclusive as far as I can make out and consisted of 10 categories and loads of extras clips. There were some solos in here and everything from bisexual trios to hunks and studs to twinks.
The quality is ok, the guys are a varied mix and the videos do their job in terms of giving you something to fantasise over and wank over, to be blunt. That's what the site is all about. The galleries continue the theme with their variety and decent images and in the exclusive images area I found 238 varied albums. These dated back to 2007 and there were some hot solo guys, some neat posed albums, and some action ones. Older photos are shown at 476 x 768 in size, more recent ones went up to 683 x 1,024, they were all decent quality and shown in basic thumbnail galleries where individual pics clicked open one at a time. Some slideshows and zip file downloads would have been good to see here. Where there were duo sets you often found individual poses from the guys before the action began so there is lots to collect. The rest of your images are made up of non-exclusive pics but there are hundreds of them.
Although the galleries don't have zips and slides, you can still easily navigate back from links at the bottom of the thumbnail pages. These are text links and they fit in with the basic design of the site. There is a lot of text and a lot of smaller sample images, which gives it, somehow, a rather nice old fashioned look. It is very easy to navigate around and there are no technical issues with it; the home page is all about help and support and advice and updates, which are regular by the way, and the main menu is one big block of links to the various areas.
And they include your extras: Gay XXX Stories numbering over 100 I'd say, well written (in proper English), varied and nicely set out for online reading, so lots more wank material there. And then your gay feeds which numbered 17 third party feed sites open in new tabs and bring you even more variety in videos.
I didn't find Wank Off World interactive at all; no rates, comments, favourites or chat, nothing like that. But then the idea is, I guess, that you log in, look up and jerk off, with no time to stop and chat. That's fine, as long as you're happy with that you will be happy with the service you get from the site.
Yes, it's all about wank fodder at Wank Off World and that's a good thing. There is no messing about, you have some 250 or so exclusive movies to download (or stream with a wait) and then thousands of varied image galleries. You then have loads more non-exclusive content in various categories that will suit everyone, plus neat stories and lots of third par feeds. Updates are regular with a new exclusive video every week, and there were no technical issues with the site.
