You are really looking at a three-site deal when you sign up at Share Your Boyfriend. You also get access to the slightly bigger (and better) BoyNapped and Twinks.com. But we are not here to look at them. We are here to tell you that Share Your Boyfriend is following recent trends for self-submitted content and Tube style set-ups. You've got real amateur guys apparently sending in their own footage of real amateur guys here, and you've got various ways to view it, and updates are promised.
There are actually only 36 videos on the site so far, and the first upload is dated July, which is four months ago, so there appears to be an upload schedule of two things a week, roughly, and if that carries on then the site is going to be growing nicely. Each of the updates is set out on your members home page with some info, date and a more link. This is the thing to click when you want to examine the video in detail, if you simply click the sample image you will open a streaming player that can take a while to load up. Click more though and you get to an individual viewing page, which I found much easier to handle.
Here you have a Flash stream to run online and a download button if you want to collect the file. Click to stream and you find the streaming window comes with a set of five Flash and five WMV choices to view, from 38k up to 1500k. That's a nice helping of choices but I did find that this page took a long time to get going. Each time I tried a stream I had to wait for something to happen before I could see anything. My machine was waiting or transferring for a very long time with every file, so much so that I eventually didn't bother with some streams and took the downloads instead. Something for you to watch out for there. Movies ran for various lengths of time but these are self-shot, home-style clips rather than full length scenes. Mind you, I've also just seen that a recent update is 28 minutes long and that was a studio made production, so it's not all self-submit content here.
Images came along with the movies and these were screen caps. They clicked up to various sizes including 850 x 480 which was slightly blurred (it depends on the original quality) and they came with slideshows and simple navigation buttons. There were 20 images or more per set.
As for the action: well, we are told that this is real BF footage and it sure looks like it. I'm not too sure where it's from or if it appears on other real BF, self-submit sites, or if you may have seen it before. But it all rings true in the reality stakes. His means that you will find ordinary, though young and generally smooth, guys at home, jerking off on their beds and looking at the camera while doing so. The sound is sometimes there and sometimes not, and I have to say that some movies are more exciting than others. On some occasions you start to feel like you've seen all this before, then you find a sexy guy who turns you on and has a long show wank, and you cant help but join in.
There is a growing and decent amount of homemade style porn here, some of which is clearly studio made, and you do have the facility to send in your own. The quality is variable as are runtimes for movies and amounts of pics per gallery, but you do have two bonus sites (also twink themed) to click to when you've seen what is currently available.
With each movie comes your chance to comment, rate and add to favourites so there are a few ways to get more involved with Share Your Boyfriend, apart from actually sending in your home tapes and really sharing him. There is a page for doing that and it has a long list of questions and info to be filled out which should make for fun reading when people start using it. There are also links in the top menu to Men Live, which is a live show area included in your membership. There are archives here too, so a great deal of extra bonus material to be had.
Click the XXX Cinema tab in the menu and you will find 33 feed sites to launch and run. There are lots of different categories here, loads of extra non-exclusive movies to see and plenty more hours worth of general porn entertainment. All these extras are easy to access from the static top menu. My only navigational tip would be to try and get the streams to open in new tabs or windows (right click on them and see if you can), otherwise you find you're using your back button a lot.
But generally the site is very easy to use. There are categories and search options, a message service if you need help, the links to the bonuses are at the top of the main pages, galleries have simple navigation and slideshows, and you can get involved with the rates and comments. Content comes with some basic information and if you need to know anything about the site and its news you will find this on the home page. It's a neat and simple members area that works really well.
Share Your Boyfriend isnt the largest self-submit site around and not all of the content has been sent in by members. You will find more of this kind of stuff on X Tube and the like. But over there you wont get the extras, the bonus sites, the classy porn and the feeds, nor will you get the horny live shows.
